Everything about this apartment is top of the line, first class and immaculately clean. It is new construction and designed by Manual Glas, a leading New York architect. Two master bedrooms feature private en-suite bathrooms with new designer linens and towels. Beds and mattresses (king size) are new as is all furniture, floor coverings and accessories.
Kitchen is all new Miele appliances and designer decorated. Perfect for private dining or entertaining.
There is a large and completely private paved terrace directly located outside kitchen/living room and at that level. The 650 square foot terrace offers new, all weather upholstered Gloster furniture, dining seating for 6 at an antique, in-laid Roman table, and a professional landscape. Matching water fountains and lights add a sense of tranquility and peace to the setting.
While the location is quiet and tree lined, we are one block from the 4, 5, 6 ( ''The Lex'' Subway in New York parlance) and cross town bus lines.
This is an extremely convenient location to all of Manhattan.. Up, Down, East or West.
We rent only to responsible guests who want the best of New York in a quiet, quality environment. Accordingly, we do ask our guests to provide a description of themselves and their party in terms of age, profession and backgrounds. No pets. No young children. No smoking. Minimum four nights.
Our check-in hour is 3PM and check out is 11AM, although we are flexible on both when circumstances permit. Please check our calendar for availability. It is always up to date.
There is an owner occupied bedroom on the third floor with its own entrance. This is what makes the retail New York Legal. Other than a warm greeting from the owners, you will be in no way inconvenienced.
Prior to our New York vacation, we spent many hours and days searching for just the right place to stay. We were looking for two bedrooms with king size beds, two bathrooms, a common kitchen/living area, private deck, great location, above average quality, newer construction and fair pricing. Not such an easy combination to find we realized after viewing way too many sites and listings to count. Livingston's condo was the clear choice - so much so, that we changed the timing of our getaway to coincide with an opening in the calendar. As shown in the photos and reflected in the many five star reviews, the condo is beautifully done, very comfortable and well equipped. The outdoor terrace is truly "stunning" and a wonderful extension of the main living area. The location is fantastic and within easy walking distance of "must see" landmarks (e.g. Empire State and Chrysler Buildings, Grand Central Station, Flatiron District to name a few). Cab and car service parking space at the front of the building was an extra bonus as was the short walk to a subway station. Several markets nearby and lots of great restaurants within steps or a very short walk (Vino Tapa at the top of our list). From the first point of contact through to the end of our stay, Livingston was great at staying in touch at just the right time and just the right amount. As a group of two couples who wanted to explore Manhattan for the first time and have lots of time to visit and catch up, Livingston's condo was absolutely perfect for our six day stay. We have and will continue to recommend this listing to others and would love to come back one day. Thanks again Livingston!
Having returned from our recent visit to NYC it important for my to let potential renters know of the wonderful condo. We had high expectations for this rental as it was what we considered a "once in a lifetime" trip. We were not disappointed in any way. The apartment itself is breathtaking. We were a family of 3 which plenty space to be together and apart as there is an upstairs and groun floor bedrooms. (amazingly comfortable beds) The apartment is on the ground floor which allows quick access to pop in or out for any requirements without waiting for elevators etc. The courtyard is like an extra room and oasis which is great to relax and listen to the sounds of the city late in the evening. We had great weather which allowed its use. Access to the rooftop garden is easy and definitely worth bringing a bottle of wine to relax. It's location in Midtown couldn't be better for sightseeing and shopping. Local restaurants are plentiful whatever your tastes. Wine shops (liquor stores) are close on 3rd. Ave. Livingston was on hand to greet us and give us a full run through on the apartment and advise on all things local. You will not be disappointed if you decide to rent this condo.
Do yourself a favor and stop looking for the perfect place right now! From the moment we walked in the front door, until we sadly closed the door to leave, our experience here exceeded our expectations. The gracious owner of the condo was waiting for us when we arrived and made us feel right at home. He is a seasoned NY'er and can help you in all your questions or concerns. This was a perfect sanctuary after busy days of touring around the Big Apple. The outside patio will have you wondering if you are really in NYC? Rooftop views are just spectacular! I can not recommend this place highly enough!
This is by far the best unit we could have asked for in NYC. The place was spectacular, clean and convenient to everything. The owner, Livingston, was readily available and checked in on us regularly. After a long day of touring, there was no better place to relax than the serene patio with deluxe fountain, greenery and lighting. Groceries, wine and fine dining were available within a short walk. Subway station was less than 3min away. If Livingston will have us, we will definitely be back. Best word to describe it is "WOW!". Very nice:).
Our daughter got married in Manhattan and we needed a 'home away from home' for the wedding and surrounding festivities. We needed a spacious and beautiful living space that could not only sleep our immediate family of 4 but also provide a staging area for 9 bridesmaids and the bride to get ready and photographed the day of the wedding. This 2 BR rental far surpassed our expectations in every regard. The 2 BR/2 Bath suite configuration provided ample space and privacy for everyone to get dressed effortlessly and the well-appointed, tasteful, and elegant interior design provided a beautiful backdrop for the indoor pictures. The large, private patio area is absolutely stunning and resembles an Italian courtyard with its fountains, brickwork, landscaping, and special lighting. This apartment is truly amazing...top-notch....5 stars through and through!!
Livingston's apartment proved to not only be beautifully appointed and well situated, but allowed us to successfully host an early Thanksgiving celebration for our city dwelling adult children and their friends. There was plenty of room for the ten of us and we were even able to enjoy time on the beautiful and quiet patio. The location is perfect and within walking distance to subways and a cab can always be hailed on Lexington in short order. This is a rare gem in NYC. My wife and I enjoy traveling throughout the world and rank this property five stars!
