About Sherrie A Vandiver
Sherrie Vandiver lives in Bedford, TX and has two daughters and son-in-laws and five granddaughters. The Taylor family of four lives in San Marcos, CA, and the Jensen family of five lives in San Diego, CA.
Sherrie A Vandiver purchased this Cabin in 2011
Why Sherrie A Vandiver chose Lake City
Ed and Syllrene Vandiver from Hobbs, NM built a cabin in Lake City in 1968 for their family of three children and seven grandchildren. Sherrie Vandiver, one daughter in the family, purchased the Elk Road cabin 43 years later to continue her parents' legacy for her family of two daughters and son-in-laws and five granddaughters. Thus, family reunions and July 4th gatherings will be enjoyed and passed on from one generation to another as Lake City memories.
What makes this Cabin unique
The families enjoy jeeping, river fly fishing, pond/lake fishing, attending Camp Red Cloud, horseback riding, hiking the fourteeners, white river rafting, watching the wild life, attending the theaters, playing miniature golf, Christmas caroling, entering July 4th races, and having picnics all around the Lake City area. The five granddaughters build forts on the cabin's one acre and landscape paths with their painted rocks.
