About Tobia Real Estate Management

The Tobia family, bought this converted barn in Truro in 2013 and revived it to be the house it was meant to be. Lisa has been managing her own properties since the age of 26 and now has properties across the U.S.. She decided to create the Tobia Real Estate Management company and do what she loves right here on the Cape. Both Lisa and Susana are Northerners and lived in Florida for almost a decade and a half and come from corporate backgrounds in Finance and Marketing. Together, they embarked on their dream to live and work on Cape Cod. They now are raising their daughter here and enjoy the Cape way of life.

Tobia Real Estate Management purchased this house in 2013

Why Tobia Real Estate Management chose Cape Cod

This property was a diamond in the rough. Originally a sturdy barn this home was built in 1850s and converted to a house in the 1950s. It was bequeathed by a father to a daughter when she married. We loved the location and the land that it sits upon. A solid and adorable Cape home, this house spoke to us and we could see it's potential.

What makes this house unique

Everyone knows the old adage 'Location, location, location.' This property is located 1/10 of a mile from the Pamet Harbor and is on the desirable Depot Road. This home has been renovated with the addition of a large sunroom, 2 decks and an very cool outdoor shower. Between Wellfleet and Provincetown and close to all the action.

Guestbook comments from the manager

My family and I celebrated my mother's 75th birthday on the Cape. My family rented the house across street and my husband and I stayed here as we didn't all fit in the other house. We really enjoyed this place...the location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to the water for a quick swim and some very needed sun. We loved the authenticity of the original room with it's pine walls and retro bathroom. Very cozy and intimate. The owners made upgrades to enhance functionality with a new sunroom that just blew us away! The room is all wood and very nicely furnished with plenty of space for everyone to come over and enjoy. We also took advantage of the lobster connection and we ordered 20 for the party...delicious!

Thank you so much Lisa and Susan for you hospitality and for giving us such a wonderful stay and memories to last a lifetime. We can't wait to come back and we RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Susanna and Lisa make you feel welcome and comfortable, like old friends or family.

Any provision or amenity you might think of needing is probably available in the cottage.

A relaxing peaceful no stress undertaking.

Relaxing & Restorative Retreat

  • 5 of 5

This cozy and comfortable hideaway was everything that the description promised, that previous guests had mentioned in their reviews and so much more! We were delighted by the wildlife - a steady dance of colorful birds (including hummingbirds) around the feeders, butterflies among the flowers and dashing little chipmunks. The outdoor spaces (and jumbo outdoor shower!) added to the pleasure of our stay. There are lots of windows and natural light, especially in the large, wood-lined studio. The small kitchen is well supplied with appliances and equipment. The A/C was wonderful for the hot humid days and the breeze that swept through from front to back when the doors were open brought in the essence of Truro's sea air. As hosts, Susanna and Lisa could not have been more generous, helpful and welcoming. The location is fantastic, with lots of boating activity, stunning marsh views (and twice-weekly morning yoga classes) at Pamet Harbor, at the foot of the hill. Dinner at Blackfish, just down the road in Truro Center, was amazing. We feel very fortunate to have found this exceptional 'home away' and we hope to return next year, perhaps for a longer stay. Thank you so much, Susanna and Lisa, for sharing your home with us.

Relax Relax Relax

  • 5 of 5

Susanna and Lisa are very welcoming and 2 great people. We pulled to the house and were welcomed by 2 amazing dogs and beautiful daughter Lily. Right away we were whisked to the vegetable garden and had a basket of veggies for our home cooked dinners. The location to P-Town and our new discovery of the Head of the Meadow beach made for less travel and more relaxation. Especially like the outside deck for morning reading while my family was getting ready in the morning and the outside shower. The sunroom with the flat screen kept our son busy and he had plenty of room to stretch out.

The hammock was so relaxing that we bought one for our home in CT.

We can't wait for next year

Take care Lisa Susanna and Lily you all are the best

Great little apartment close to everything!

  • 5 of 5

The property is lovely and the apartment is beautifully appointed, with lovely aesthetic touches and great conveniences for a family. It was perfect for our family of 4. It's close to beaches, harbor, P-town. Owners, Susie and Lisa were wonderful! We couldn't have imagined for a better place to stay on the Cape.

Great Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My family loved our stay at the Hideaway at Pamet Harbor. We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 under the age of 6). Susanna and Lisa have done an incredible job making this space welcoming. They have garden outside for their guests to enjoy and have really thought about the small details that make staying here special. We especially loved sitting outside at night overlooking their beautiful yard watching the stars come out and seeing the lightening bugs come play. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants to have a beautiful place to come home to after days of adventure and hosts that are wonderful and generous. Thank you Susanna!

Great spot in Truro

  • 4 of 5

Lovely little apartment tucked away just near Truro Harbor. We spent a fantastic weekend here in late August. There is a lovely deck, where we ate all our meals, and we loved the outdoor shower. We found we had everything we needed in this cozy, cool house.
