THE MOUNTAIN HAVEN IS THE NICEST HOME IN THE AREA. NEW KING SIZED HEATED BEDS, SUPER FAST WIFI, STREAMING TV, FIRE PIT, TEAK ROCKING CHAIRS, PRIVATE 20 ACRES BUT CLOSE TO ATTRACTIONS. NO OLD FAKE PICTURES - THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. ITS WORTH THE EXTRA $'s for your vacation time.

Lake access is just down the hill. For larger groups this home and its sister home the Lake Haven can be rented together for family reunions, etc... Everything we wanted and more

What can I say about our stay at the Mountain Haven, it was nothing short of perfect. From the initial communication pre booking to our final hours at the home, the owners were available to answer any questions that we had. The home is beautiful and our family really enjoyed the layout to spread out. For the important things (in our opinion): Beds were very comfortable, the house was super clean, water pressure/temp in the shower was perfect, the pellet stoves kept us toasty and the kitchen was well stocked with anything one would need for a home cooked meal. The trail system is right out the driveway though the area is pretty quiet. If you want to be close to all the major places in Pittsburg but enjoy some solitude, this one is for you! We were blessed with daily snow and lost power one day for a few hours. Within minutes, the stand by generator was up and running and our stay wasn't impacted one bit. The driveway was plenty large enough for our 24 foot trailer, we parked it and it was never in the way. The plow guy was super nice and on top of removing the snow we were pummeled with. This is our 3rd year in Pittsburg and this cabin is by far the best one we have stayed in. If you are thinking of staying here, book it, you will not be let down. We are already counting down the days till our next stay at Mountain Haven! Thank you Leigh and Judy for a wonderful stay and for answering all of my questions!

Great Winter Family Vacation

We stayed at Mountain Haven with family and friend during our kids winter break and really enjoyed the stay. Plenty of room for two families with close access to snowmobile trails from the property. We all had a great time and will plan on visiting again.

If your looking for something really nice and memorable this is the home to rent year after year. Simply put you get what you pay for and with a larger home for a larger group the amount per person per night is very reasonable for such a very high end home. Very very fast internet, Stream Netflix to the 4K UHD TV and more make this an amazing place to be your base camp while enjoying and exploring the region.
