This home is located one block from Luther Lake and has approximately 1700 square feet of living space and includes Free Broadband WiFi, Cable, 2 baths, 2 Bedrooms with one queen bed and one double bed, also there is a sofa sleeper in the den. Kitchen has a breakfast nook and has all tools needed to prepare and pans, dishes and tableware. Coffee maker, microwave, washer and dryer are furnished. Sun room just off the den with dining table, chairs and lounger. A beautiful place to watch the wildlife. The home also has a large formal living room and dinning room. Home has a two car garage. This home is located in a premier residential area of Dickson that is just a short commute to Nashville, Franklin or Clarksville. Easy access to I40 and 840. Dickson is a mecca of antique stores. It has two great golf courses. It is just minutes from Music City. One of Tennessee's best state parks Montgomery Bell State Park is just up the road. This town contains the best bar-b-Q in the state along with many other great places to eat.
We have been retired from a regular paycheck for 10 years, Rhonda, my wife, and I own, maintain and manage rental property in the area and that keeps us busy. We still live in Tennessee, but not in Dickson. We are faithful believers in Christ and attend the Church of Christ. We have been married for 42 years. We have no children, but have been trained by our cat, Sunshine.
This home was purchased by my aunt and after her death was passed down to my mother and now that my mother has exited this earthly home it was passed down to Donna, my younger sister, and me. We didn't want to dismantle her home so we decided to keep it,and after a little decluttering, we have made it available for travelers to enjoy.
This home is located in one of the older premier locations of Dickson. Being less than a block from a beautiful lake with a walkway encircling it makes it an ideal place to get our exercise with a brisk walk. We love seeing the ducks, geese, cranes and meeting and petting the neighborhood dogs.
The sun room also has given us many pleasures. Our family has gathered here and enjoyed many home cooked meals. It is heated and cooled with a separate unit that makes it comfortable year round. Great for watching squirrels, rabbits and many varieties of birds that are attracted by the feeders we have placed close by.
I have enjoyed the fireplace this winter. It has gas logs that are very efficient in putting off heat and keeps the den very cozy.
There is a locally owned grocery, Chappell's, on the corner and their meat and vegetable selection is superb. They also have anything you might need in the kitchen and it's only two blocks away.
Within just a short drive you have supermarkets, a wal-mart, fast food, post office , banks, theater, bowling alleys, Renaissance Center, and churches.
It is truly a home away from home.
Thank you so much for the use of your lovely home. We have really enjoyed our stay here and especially loved the sunroom and the location. We will difinately come and stay again. We love all the nice touches you have added that makes this feel like a home away from home!
We had a lovely time in this spacious quaint house, it felt like being at Grandma's house. It is somewhat dated but very comfortable, clean and private. The sun room is awesome, we spent every evening out there having coffee and reminiscing about family and days gone by. We so enjoyed it! We were thankful to be able to do what we wanted without fear of disturbing people around us like in a hotel. (We laughed a lot into the wee hours of the evening) Thank you Robert and Rhonda for sharing your sweet home with us. By the way Robert and Rhonda are great to work with, very accommodating. The house is very well stocked with just about anything you might need. I would and did recommend this house to friends and family. We hope to visit again!

We spent 6 excellent weeks in the Lake Circle house and hope to return. Words can't express how much we enjoyed Robert and Rhonda's property! It is immaculate and comfortable. The pictures are very accurate, and yet don't do it justice! The location is also great--near to our favorite restaurants (Tony B's and Las Fajitas) groceries, and shopping (Bargain Hunt, Ross/Marshall's, Gimmie a 5--all 3-8 min away, Kroger and Walmart--2-7 min away). Robert was always available and quickly responsive if we had problems (we had very few). We loved the sunroom and spent most of our time out there!
We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone!
This house was a great find and it was immaculate. We really felt like we were at home during our stay. We were working long days on our property in a neighboring town, and it was really nice to stretch out and relax in the evenings. Much nicer than a hotel. The owner was available by phone when I needed to extend our stay. I would recommend this home to others. In addition to the owner's suggestions for places to eat, I would recommend the following: Dickson Donuts, Tony B's for burgers and Sister's for home style cooking.
When we walked in, we felt as if we were at home. Everything was immaculate! We loved the original bathrooms and kitchen! It adds so much character to the house. Our favorite room was the sun porch where we spent the majority of our stay!
The cleanest home, I've ever stayed in. The owners are wonderful, they left cold water, toiletries, paper plates, everything is there for you. The most wonderful experience when renting a house, a home away from home. I recommend this property to anyone looking tone close to stores and about 40 minutes to Nashville.
The location was excellent for all our wedding activities. Centrally located.
Didn't get to enjoy the stay much. Was gone more than we were at the house. Was nice that we could bring Buster along. He enjoys being with people.
And Robert and Rhonda are very nice people. Thanks so much for making our stay comfortable and for all of your help with directions. Couldn't have found the cactus barn without your help.
Hopefully we will be back and can stay a little longer next time. Thanks again!
I find that we all have to eat, while eating at home is a convenience we all like to go out and enjoy the different cuisine of the area. Here are some of my favorites:
Beacon Light Tea Room - Located a few miles out of town is a well established tea room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Beacon Light has unique homemade hot biscuits and Jams, You will find a menu on the bakers rack.
Catfish Kitchen: Located 6 miles east on Hwy 70 you will find one of my favorite catfish restaurants. If you like crisp and spicy catfish, they have the best.
Front Porch: Located on the corner of Walnut and Center Ave. in downtown Dickson you will find the best home cooking in town. But go before noon or shortly after or they will be out of their featured daily special.
Back Alley Bar-B-Q: Located on the corner of College and Church St. you will find the best bar-b-q in the state of Tennessee. Whether you have the pork, chicken or bologna you must put this on your list if you like bar-b-q.
La Plazas or Camino Real: If you want Mexican you have two good choices. Both are near by and both have great food at great prices.
Seasons Buffet or Ming Court: If you want Asian you have two good choices. Both are near and both have great food at great prices.
Well I think I have covered most of my favorite restaurants except for a good breakfast Shoney's has eggs, bacon/sausage, pancake breakfast for $5.95.
Other attractions: You are of course just minutes from other area attractions.
Country Music Hall of Fame - 46 minutes
Grand Ole Opry - 56 minutes
Green Hills Mall - 44 minutes
Montgomery Bell State Park - 13 minutes
