Perfect quiet getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My family (including a 6 month old baby) and I had a fantastic 2 night stay at the cozy ranch house. We drove up from Boston to attend the 4th of July concert at Tanglewood.

Reservation-easy via Homeaway! Karen, the owner, was easy to reach and always provided timely feedback. From the moment we booked the house, Karen was always available via texts to help answer questions and directions. Fantastic owner who really cares about her property and renters.

Property-it is indeed cozy and quiet as stated in the name. The house was nestled in the woods. We were so excited to drive up to see the surrounding. The house has 3 bedrooms, each room has a window a/c unit and a fan. The kitchen was well equipped and we used the grill to make a nice steak dinner for 4 and sat outside by the table next to the pool. We then capped the evening with a nice fireside chat. The house is quaint and has everything we needed, even great wifi! We never turned on the TV but there is one. We didn't get to enjoy the pool on this trip but it is clean and surprisingly large. Lastly, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch and enjoy our baby played on the ground while the birds chirp the day away.

Lover's Lane was a charming stay for our family. We absolutely loved it and recommend it. We hope to return some day!

Fabulous home-away-from-home

  • 5 of 5

This vacation spot was perfect for our sisters-getaway. It was very clean and comfortable. The house and yard are very private with no neighbors on either side. It has a beautiful in-ground pool with plenty of seating. The front porch was cozy and was perfect for relaxing during the thunder storm. Although we did not use it, there is a fire pit that would be perfect for making smores. We had a fantastic time and will return in the future. I give this home an A.

The home is very organized and clean; it's very close to the A.T. which we used for day hiking. The owner stays in touch and is helpful.

Thanks!

A lovely house in the countryside

  • 4 of 5

4 women stayed here for the weekend and found that the house met our needs for a comfortable and relaxing time. The beds were great and all of the equipment worked well. There were many things to do around Becket and lots of travel brochures available in the house to peruse. The house was well-stocked with movies and games to last the weekend and beyond. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Karen was very responsive to all inquiries and needs. Thanks!
