All our vacation rentals follow local laws and tax rules. Your booking payment can be made in two installments, taxes, cleaning fees, and Property Damage Protection (PDP) insurance policy are included.
We arrived October 3rd 2015 a few hours early and housekeeping realized there was a problem. Our intended unit was occupied. We found out that we could not stay in it. We were stressing for our first 4 hours and we hadn't even unpacked. Our customer service person Becca offered us a comparable unit next door because she was having issues with the guy who took our unit. However, it turned out that the unit was not comparable, did not have the washer/dryer and seemed to be under construction.The kitchen stove was missing an oven hood, the kitchen window has no blinds for privacy, the screen door was broke, the adirondack chair arm on the deck was loose and needed repair, the fan in the master bedroom didn't work. So Becca offered us a one night credit in exchange for staying in that unit overnight to accommodate their other guest and inconvenience us for one night.
After we moved into the unit we were supposed to be in on Sunday morning 10/4 we then began to relax and enjoy our next few days and nights there. The unit was perfect for us and Betty the housekeeper was very pleasant and friendly. We had a great time in spite of a bad first day. That unit was accurately listed and the properly clean and maintained.
However, we cannot recommend this owner and property because through his/her customer service person Becca a big mistake was made in booking our unit to two people at the same time. And Becca never put through the credit as promised. We were lied to. After we got home, Becca did not respond to phone calls or to e-mails.
I have stayed at many VRBO units around the country and have had good experiences. This one was a big disappointment.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The property has a fantastic location, was very clean and organized perfectly for our family. I highly recommend it.
We had a lovely stay at this property - beautifully appointed, amazing view and centrally located for a weekend in Santa Barbara. The property had everything we needed for dining in the room and entertain our guests. There were several construction vehicles parked in the lower level where our spot was which made it difficult to get a Suburban parked in our assigned spot, but someone else parked there the entire duration of our visit :( We had no trouble parking on street, just had to lug our bags to and from the property. We had trouble getting into the property as the code provided didn't work but the property managers got back to us right away and we were able to get in.
Three of us shared this 2 bedroom condo,, with great views and right across the street from the beach. As we were here campaigning for Berrnie Sanders, the location was terrific for our purposes.... Close to dining, the 101 highway, the marina and shopping.
I found the management company slow to respond to my phone calls after booking, though the kitchen is adequate, do NOT expect all the tools and equipment in your own kitchen, and the unit could have provided more keys to the beach gate, and instructions re garbage, and the like (which is often provided in a sort of "welcome to..." In a pamphlet or other printed material.
Alll in all, we would return!
We had a wonderful experience staying here. The condo is exactly as pictured, nice and clean. We did not have any issues that we needed to contact the management company. The view is amazing and the location is perfect. I would definitely return!!
Conveniently located to the most leisure experience of the ocean along Leadbetter Beach, views of local surfers catching waves along the nearby point is a common occurrence, as well as local passersby running, cycling or walking along the pedestrian path along the water.
A short walk from the Santa Barbara harbor where multiple delicious restaurants and nice bars can be found, including Brophy Brothers, a Santa Barbara local and visitor favorite.
Just 2 miles from Downtown Santa Barbara, whether by bike ride, car or taxi, getting downtown Santa Barbara to enjoy the plethora of delicious restaurants, and great shopping. Also, convenient to local tasting rooms for some of the Central Coasts' best wineries throughout the Urban Wine Trail.
A short drive to the gorgeous Butterfly Beach followed by an evening of drinks and live music in the Four Seasons Biltmore is a great way to spend a Friday or Saturday evening.
