-Excellent view of the ocean
-Lot’s of room with open common area and balcony
-On site pool is beautiful and refreshing with a great view
-Fully stocked kitchen with most pots, pans, plates and kitchen utensils necessary to legitimately cook many of the meals during the stay
-20 minute tricycle ride to town, restaurants and most activities and popular beaches
-The home is showing its age. Light fixtures rusted and in some cases falling apart, wooden cabinetry rotted and in poor repair, with many drawers non functioning and cabinets hanging from the hinges.
-Beautiful uncrowded beach nearby but requires a $10 entry fee per person (credit is given to be used toward overpriced food and drinks)
-Another trail is available nearby but it is very steep, rocky and treacherous path only suited to the adventurous with good hiking shoes
-Air conditioning only available in the bedrooms. The master bedroom A/C works well, the others have various levels of effectiveness. While the spacious common area is a nice feature, many may find it too hot without air conditioning to spend any time there.
-We enjoyed our stay in Boracay and the view from the property was amazing but the distance to most of the activities we were looking to participate in was inconvenient.
-We were made to feel less like a valued guest and more like a mark to extract the maximum funds from. The final straw was when we were asked at departure to pay for the repair of a cabinet door that the wood was clearly rotted out and the screws happened to fall out from normal use during our stay.
