THE RESORT IS RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Just a 5 minute walk from the condo and you are on the beach! Enjoy our quiet, romantic, tropical Garden Getaway in Oceanside, California. This beautifully decorated condo has a spectacular view of tropical lush plants, trees and limited view of the ocean. The North Coast complex is beautifully landscaped with a waterfall, streams, and a koi pond (you can even feed the koi!). Relax beside one of the two heated pools and spa. Enjoy a family dinner at the poolside barbecue or enjoy a beautiful sunset from our balcony. The complex includes a remodeled fitness center, sauna, putting green, ping-pong, pool tables, party rooms, card room, and library. Other amenities include a gated entry and 24 hour security. North Coast Village is a non-smoking resort.

The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. The condo houses one bedroom with a comfortable king bed and one queen convertible sofa bed in the living area. The bathroom adjoins the bedroom. There is a kitchen, dining, and living room area to relax and enjoy. There are two flatscreen TV's, DVD player, wireless internet, fireplace, and ceiling fans. All linens are provided.

For fun at the beach there are boogie boards, beach chairs, frisbee, beach umbrella, and ice chest. You need only to walk through the gate to enjoy the water, sand, and sun. Oceanside is known for being a wonderful surfing area. You can rent a surfboard and take lessons near the pier. Other fun beach activities include fishing, swimming, body surfing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, boat cruises, windsurfing, Stand Up Paddle boarding, whale watching (in season), volleyball, pit bonfires on the beach and more.

The condo is within walking distance of the Oceanside Pier, Oceanside Harbor, and downtown area. You will find many restaurants, movie theater, and shops within walking distance. Don't forget to visit the Oceanside Morning Farmer's Market and Sunset Market in downtown every Thursday. There is always something going on at the pier and in town.

If you don't want to walk - then try biking! Rent a bike at the pier and ride on the bike trail to the San Luis Rey Mission! There are many excellent bike trails around Oceanside. Another way to get around is to walk to the train station and take the Coaster into San Diego and see a Padre Baseball game, go to a museum, the theater, or have dinner in the Gaslamp district. The train can also be taken into Los Angles and other surrounding areas.
Our condo is located near many California attractions that are within a hour drive or less. You will have easy access to major highways to drive to attractions such as Sea World (35 minutes), Disneyland (45 minutes), Legoland (10 minutes). Don't forget a trip to Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, Universal Studios and Hollywood. You may just want to get into the car and head down Highway 101 taking in all the quaint beach towns and local flavor.

A very nice condo

We stayed here for almost seven weeks. Our stay was really enjoyable. The property is well-maintained and very clean and tidy. The furniture is top-grade. The owner is approachable and responsive to the renter’s needs. one can see the ocean from the patio. Although the patio is oriented towards the pool, it wasn’t noisy. it’s a gated community. it doesn’t appear that any of the condos here have built in washers and dryers, there is good access to laundry facilities on site. one property owner mentioned to us that these machines will soon be offering credit card payment option. (there is a coin shortage nationwide, they say.) Oceanside is a nice community. the condo is very close to the ocean and we enjoyed walking on the waterfront. The Strand (streetname) gets a bit noisy but that doesn’t impact this condo. It is a very dog-friendly community that has its positives and negatives. The owner has provided a lot of amenities, including beach chairs, patio umbrellas, linens, kitchen utensils, DVDs, a desk and chair (to work on a laptop/ipad, or write), dinner seating for 4, pull out sofa bed, etc. etc. I can’t think of anything negative about this accommodation. It’s a very nice 1 BR/1 bathroom condo, more than enough for a couple. Would give top recommendation for this unit.

An Amazing Getaway

I highly recommend renting this property in North Coast Village in Oceanside. I am leaving after a three week stay with fond memories of the beach and surrounding communities. So much to see and experience in the area!The unit was very well-stocked and extremely comfortable. The complex offers all you want: a very short walk to the beach or marina, two pools, two hot tubs and a convenient laundry room. The office staff at the complex is very helpful too. I anticipate renting this unit again next year for even longer. Thanks for having such a lovely haven!

Oceanside Paradise

This beautiful complex is perfectly situated for a fun and relaxing vacation. The Condo overlooks the lush tropical courtyard and Koi pond with a bonus partial ocean view to the side. Parking and check in were easy and the elevator takes you right to the hallway where the door to the unit is located. The Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed, including multiple fans since there is no AC in the complex. They even left a bag of fish food and our kids had a blast feeding the Koi. We also spent many hours in the lovely pool and hot tub. The beach is just a short walk through the complex and is situated perfectly between the downtown Oceanside Pier and the Marina which are each less than a mile away. So many great things to see and do and eat in walking distance! One day we walked along the beach to the pier side and watched a surfing competition, got fish tacos and shopped. Another day we strolled the marina, watched the sea lions, got fish and chips and shopped some more! Thanks for sharing your wonderful Oceanside Paradise with us!

Our family lives in Lake Arrowhead , CA in the San Bernardino Mountains. We love our condo and hope to retire there one day.

Why they chose this property

We have always enjoyed the beach. Both my wife and I spent time in Oceanside as teenagers. We have always loved the Oceanside and San Diego area. The North Coast Village resort is on the beach. We wanted a place where we could directly access the beach and be close to the many attactions and San Diego county activities. Oceanside has it all for us and we love the North Coast complex.

What makes this property unique

There are so many things to do! We enjoy walking to the pier and having breakfast at the Harbor restaurants. We love walking to the harbor and into town. We also ride our bikes on the trails. Watching the sun set from our condo balcony is a highlight. Since we live about 2 hours away, we enjoy the condo throughout the year. There are so many fun activities throughout the year and it is so easy to enjoy the outdoors in this beautiful location.
