Very Clean and Well Located Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had 5 couples stay there for the weekend. Everybody in our group loved the place, its location, and all the things it came equipped with. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the process and very easy to deal with. The cottage was VERY clean. Everybody had an amazing time! I highly recommend this place for anyone

Highly Recommend this Cottage

  • 5 of 5

From the time we arrived to the time we left we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The weather was fantastic so most of our time was spent by the lake fishing and canoeing. Amenities provided were as described with couple more extras like awning control and fire chimney to cozy up at the end of the day. We brought our own fire wood but did not have a chance to use due to most of it already provided. There was everything we needed and wanted at the cottage. We plan on booking again for this late fall for a wedding we have to attend locally. Owners are very flexible with pricing for offseason dates. We recommend this property 100%

Beautiful Cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this beautiful cottage. The property was beyond our expectations. We had a group of families members stay in the house from ages 11 months old – 68 years old. This home suited everyone perfectly. The owners were flexible with the check in and checkout time, and answered all of our questions promptly. I highly recommend this home to all families, couples, and groups looking for a beautiful home with access to the lake. We brought our boat with us and it was a breeze to use the provided boat launch location at the ski school. It met and exceeded all of our expectations, and if we ever need to rent a place in the future so conveniently and centrally located we will definitely be renting this home again rather than driving in traffic for hours to muskokas and being exhausted to the point that it just eats up a day of your time to enjoy the lake and the property.

Excellent and Convenient Location!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place for our small family reunion. It was wonderful having all the amenities as described with cooking utensils and BBQ so we didn't have to bring a lot with us. It was great to be so close to grocery stores and other amenities so it was a no issue to run out and get something. Canoeing on the lake was nice, watching the sunset from canoe was the best. We checked out the Big Island and really enjoyed hiking on it. The home is beautifully laid out and furnished and we were really able to relax and enjoy our time together. Already booked for the next year.

Friendly Family Atmosphere

  • 4 of 5

Visited there with my family and friends family. Owners were very friendly and the checklist was helpful to check the condition of the house how clean it was. It was extremely clean. I experienced same kind of checklist with other cottage rental before. The lake was swimmable and our kids enjoyed it alot especially the big Island in the center of the lake. They spend the whole day at that island. Owner provided firewood and propane free of charge which was mentioned as an extra charge in the listing. Will come back again so we don't need to drive 3 hours to experience the same kind of enjoyment.

The pictures are older and the house was looking more upgraded with a lot of great landscaping around. We could not believe it was the same property we booked when we got there

Will come back again and again

  • 5 of 5

Very professionally run, well maintained cottage was very clean. Plan on returning for second trip. There was lots to see and do in the area including fishing and sight seeing in the canoe that comes with the cottage. I knew about the Lake since I was a kid and have many memories related to it.

So what if anyone believes that it's on par with a swamp, it's actually not, you just have to know where to take the canoe out to enjoy a nice sandy bottom away from prying eyes of unfriendly neighbors thinking they own their property and the properties around you. There is actually big money invested to improve the quality of the lake.

Being able to enjoy a nice quiet fire at the end of the day was distinctive.

Definitely will come again and bring my family again and again without a doubt. Keep in mind if amenities are not mentioned on the listing they were provided as soon as this was our requirement. Don't get your hopes up receiving over and above if you don't ask or negotiate prior.
