Such a peaceful getaway!

  • 5 of 5

What a great cottage! Brooke and Nathan were unbelievable hosts and the house had everything that we needed. Between soaking in the hot tub, sitting by the fire outside, grilling steaks and tuna, and sneaking in a quick round of golf it was everything that we needed. There was much more to do of course, but we just needed the break from the grind of DC, and relaxing was the key. Nice and quiet, and the sky at night looked like a planetarium...WOW!

We will be back very soon!

Relaxing, Comfortable, Amazing views !

  • 5 of 5

Arrived Thursday afternoon and was very impressed by the appearance of the cottage. Very well maintained inside and out. Even though it rained through the night we still did a 5 mile hike on Friday. Then went downtown Luray and visited the town and all the little shops. Saturday we went to Luray Caverns and then drove up Skyline Drive and went to Skyland for late afternoon lunch. Every day dinner at home then relaxed by the fire and then hot tub before bed. Will definitley recommend this place to all my family and friends. The cottage had all the necessities, we didnt need anything else. Thanks Again for sharing your place. See ya next year !

Valentine's Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! Wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, admiring the peaceful and beautiful surroundings, and cozying up by the fireplace. Thank you Brooke & Nathan for an awesome cottage experience!

Truly Amazing. We were impressed from the moment we walked in the door. The cottage is a home away from home with everything you could possibly need. We reserved the cottage for a birthday weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. From baking the birthday cake in the truly "stocked" kitchen to relaxing in the amazing hot tub. The robes were a nice touch. It was great relaxing and watching the wildlife from the screened in porch. Nathan and Brooke were very responsive and ensured everything was set for our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful getaway - book now!!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the cottage couldn't have been better. This cozy and modern home was just what we needed for a few days outside of DC. As others have already noted in their reviews, Brooke and Nathan really have thought of everything that guests could could ever need or want. The well stocked kitchen had every appliance we needed. The fancy washer/dryer was easy to use and handy to have when we came back to the house with dirty hiking clothes. We enjoyed playing card games that were in the living room, working on one of several puzzles, and keeping warm outside in the hot tub. A quick 15-20 minute drive had us in George Washington National Forest for a serene hike through the woods. Unfortunately, Mother Nature conspired against us and it was quite cloudy, foggy, and a bit rainy so we didn't get to see the sunset either night. But that just gives us a reason to come back! Thank you for having us at your perfect retreat.

Beautiful and serene!

We had a great New Years stay at this property! The home is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. We enjoyed lots of outdoor time in the hot tub, by the firepit, and using the charcoal grill. Inside, we enjoyed watching many college bowl games in front of the gas fireplace. Brooke and Nathan were very hospitable and responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.
