Great place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wish we could've stayed longer.
The condo was clean. The beds were comfortable. People were friendly. The only negative was the time share aspect. Any time we booked something with the concierge they always wanted to start the sell. We said no but it was irritating. I don't mind being asked once but that should be it! Moral of the story don't let concierge book stuff for you, do it yourself. Location was good, on south end of town. Most restaurants, grocery, etc located off 89A which is main road through Sedona. There were several pools and hot tubs, so one was close to our condo. Very nice work out room. We enjoyed our stay.
We had to go to the front desk twice because our keys didn't work. When they did work, they only worked on one of the two entrance doors. The front desk was short staffed so we had to wait in a 15 minute line every time we asked for new keys. The stairs to the room were crumbling and were a safety hazard. The views from the room were of the parking lot and soda machine. There was no cleaning service during our two night stay. We stayed here because it was close to the start of a marathon we ran but we wouldn't stay here again.
Overall our stay was great. We had plenty of room, the beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. The only thing I didn't like is we were put in the unit that was the closest to the busy intersection. When I checked in and she showed me our building and unit on the map, I asked if the road noise was loud. She said that no one had ever complained. Honestly, it was not too bad, but it would have been nicer to be in one of their units with a view of the red rocks instead of a busy street. For the price, I guess that is what you get. The unit was easy to get to and located near the hot tub, which the kids loved. The DVD players were nice to put on movies and my daughter even made cupcakes and popped popcorn in the kitchen. It was close to our favorite hiking trails and near grocery stores, but not too close. We would stay here again. I may just be more specific on making sure we were in a unit father from the street.
We rented a 2 BR which was a studio lock out attached to a 1 BR condo unit. Photos are pretty accurate, and the configuration works well. Plenty of space for our party. We only stayed one night and planned hiking events, so we did not partake of any resort "features" and cant comment on them. Our particular unit was right on top of busy Rte 89...Noise was an issue for us. I suspect that the other units would be better. As other reviewers have noted, we avoided the "welcome gift" timeshare sales process, which they tracked. Then our phone rang, we were visited at the door, etc... Last thing I want to do is dodge a timeshare sales pitch on a vacation.
