We stayed one night at Crag's Lodge in Estes Park. The lodge is located in a great mountainside spot overlooking the valley and mountains surrounding it. Front desk was knowledgable and helpful. In our one evening there we saw plenty of elk and had a great meal. The room was simple and comfortable. A very pleasant place to stay!
Service was amazing from the start, very accommodating. Heated pool was a hit for our family. Grounds and room clean and well kept. We were placed in a studio on the ground floor with a back patio. The main complaint I have about this locatin is there are about 5 rooms in this hall that are below the lodges restaurant, and with the wood floors and age of this lodge it was very noisy from 7-10pm. We had our 3 year old with us, which means an early bedtime and this noise was an inconvenience. Otherwise recommend checking this place out.
All the staff was pleasant, friendly and went out of their way to assist with any needs or questions. The first day the desk clerk gave really good restaurant recommendations. None missed the mark. Although you have to eat one night in the lodge, The View. Close to downtown Estes and the park. It is walk-able to downtown if you do no mind the hill back up to the lodge. Really enjoyed our stay.
Very nice place and the staff were are very accommodating! Close to downtown Estes and a great donut shop for breakfast. FYI no AC... but usually cools down at night.
My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Historic Crags Lodge. The lodge is lovely - makes one feel as if they're stepping back in time. Our Studio room was nicely updated with gorgeous bathroom & small but fully equipped kitchenette. Everything was clean & neat. The staff was very helpful & friendly. The view of Estes Park was lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer!
We had a wonderful experience! Gina and Jeff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean. We also were grateful for the laundry soap and use of the washer and dryer. We needed butter for a recipe we were cooking in our room and they went to the restaurant and got some from the chef. We enjoyed the history of the lodge. The pies and s'more were yummy . My twins are 17 years old and had a blast!
