The China area offers convenient shopping at Hannaford Supermarket and dine at the China Dinah.
About ten years ago, Dick Sabatini and family bought 91 acres of land adjacent to the Pellerin Campground. The Sabatini brothers who are builders by trade, constructed five cabins in the woods. These three season cabins have provided many happy family memories for our family and many others.

Voted #23 out of 100 US lakes by BassMaster for bass fishing in 2014!
Unlike most lake front properties in Maine, this property has a gradual slope that continues into the water. This makes it enjoyable for boating, swimming and great for kids. The friendly people at the Pellerin Campground made us feel like part of the family. You too will enjoy the friendly family atmosphere here at the cabins at Pellerin Cove!
The stars are so bright in the sky at night while enjoying singing and fun around the campfire. Bring your guitar!
Six of us spent to nights at your cabin. It was very comfortable. We would recommend that the Futon become a double bed, but everything else was great. It was a short ride to the fair.
My family of five absolutely loved the cabin. So adorable and clean on the inside...exactly as pictured. Beautiful pine walls and floors. The screened in porch on our cabin was great and good sized. We used it a lot especially on the day that it rained (cabin 11 is the only one without a large porch. It has a smaller one though). We did have to bring linens and towels which was no problem. And there were ceiling fans in each bedroom as well as extra fans provided. Loved that! I do wish I would have known to bring dish towels, sponges and dish soap though. None was provided so I had to go to the grocery store down the road. Not a problem. Only a mile a way. The swimming area for the kids was okay. Fairly good sized and Just a short walk to the water. It was Rocky and a bit mucky after walking out about 5 feet. But we still had fun floating around. Most lakes are a bit mucky. The swim area was also in between the docked boats....luckily none were really moving or docking during the times we swam. There is a nice sandy swimming area just a five minute boat ride to the left. The manager on site was wonderful!!! Jim was so kind and was around all the time to help us in any way that he could. I was not sure about what to do at the end of our stay, as there were no instructions provided for cleanup or trash disposal. He was there to help me out. The only thing I could say about the cabins that I was a bit disappointed in was the fact that I had absolutely no idea that these cabins were on a campground. It was in the RV part of the campground. By the pictures and descriptions on Homeaway I thought they were just 5 private cabins nestled in the woods. That information should really be in the description. I had not intended to stay on a campground....however.....it turned out great anyway and we had a great time. All the RV's are permanent residents and there are not that many there...about 6 well maintained spots there. Therefore, we did not see many people at all during our stay. I just wish I would have known prior to reserving. Although I love campgrounds....We had wanted just a cabin on a lake. But again.....we had a great time there and the campground part did not stop us from having a very quiet and peaceful time. All the RV residents there are very quiet and friendly....when we did see them....which was not often....which made us end up feeling like we were nestled quietly in the woods anyway. :) Great memorable time overall!! Highly recommend!!
The cabin was very clean & everything is brand new! Remember to bring your own linens and towels. New grills outside & fire pit stop at the market for food and marshmallows!!!
We did not stay long enough -we did a weekend Friday to Sunday I would recommend staying at least 5-7days or LONGER especially if you are traveling more than 5 hours away like me from NYC.
Okay I could go on and on about the cabin and tranquil environment, but I must talk about Jim... Jim is AWESOME he recommended places to eat, made sure we arrived and introduced himself and went out of his way to give us a ride on his boat around China lake! He and his wife are adorable and such awesome people! I really had a great time with them. Jim loves his job and it really shows!
Be prepared to weave at EVERYONE! It's the friendliest town everyone waves hello!

The China area offers convenient shopping at Hannaford Supermarket and dining at the China-Dina Restaurant. Plenty of friendly people! China, Maine is 15 minutes east of Augusta, the capitol of Maine, for flights and easy highway access. Coastal Maine is within half hour away. Camden and BoothBay just shy of a hour to drive. Two hours north is white water rafting down the Kennebec River. One of our favorite family events!!
