About ten years ago, Dick Sabatini and family bought 91 acres of land adjacent to the Pellerin Campground. The Sabatini brothers who are builders by trade, constructed five cabins in the woods. These three season cabins have provided many happy family memories for our family and many others.

Voted #23 out of 100 US lakes by BassMaster for bass fishing in 2014!
Unlike most lake front properties in Maine, this property has a gradual slope that continues into the water. This makes it enjoyable for boating, swimming and great for kids. The friendly people at the Pellerin Campground made us feel like part of the family. You too will enjoy the friendly family atmosphere here at the cabins at Pellerin Cove!
The stars are so bright in the sky at night while enjoying singing and fun around the campfire. Don't forget your guitar.
Please note*** Cabin 13 is NOT a pet friendly cabin.
Or other 4 cabins are pet friendly. Please inquire about cabins 1, 7, 9, and 11.
My husband and I came up to Maine for the Colby College parents weekend. Instead of choosing to stay in a bland hotel, we chose to rent Cabin 13. We are so glad we did! We loved the comfortable, cozy feel of the cabin in the woods and by a lake, but also that we were not too far from campus. The cabin was very clean and well kept, not to mention adorable. We loved the gas stove which warmed up the cabin just perfectly, and the two screened in porches which provided a lovely view of the surroundings. Thanks for opening your cabin for us to enjoy!
It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but turned out even better. We rented cabins 9, 11, and 13 for a get together of 15 adults and we really couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Each cabin had plenty of room, with cabin 13 having the queen bed in the master, cabin 11 having the biggest living room, and cabin 9 having the best deck. Each cabin had ceiling fans in the bedrooms which was a bonus, a nice little kitchen, and a fire pit. Cabins 11 and 13 had a fire pit with picnic tables between them and we spent most of our time gathered around the camp fire. The camp grounds had several trailers with long time visitors and you could not find a nicer bunch of folks. They were friendly and quick to provide information on various points of interest around the campsite. Of note, an ice cream parlor just around the corner. As for the lake, it was prestine and could only have been better if I had been on it with a boat. Best of all, the owners were very responsive, a joy to work with, and made us feel like family. Pros: Everything. Cons: Leaving. We hope to return soon! Thank you so very much.
Our family of 6(kids age 1-15) loved the cabin. We had more than enough space and spent a lot of time on the big screen porch. The kids enjoyed the lake and we stopped for ice cream at the other end of the lake! Grocery store, gas, ice and coffee shop very close by. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
Our only downfall was there was no sheets/pillow cases on the beds. I assume I just missed that part on the rental agreement. It didn't affect out stay though:)
Had a wonderful time at the campground.
The cabins are beautiful and spacious enough for a family of 5. The best part is the screened in porch & gas stove for those cold Maine nights.
The kids might get bored so bring fishing poles, tubes for the lake, water guns, deck of cards and lots of board games - this is a very small, quiet campground so not many kids/families to play with.
You are truly 'unplugged' out in the woods (if you have AT&T mobile carrier - good luck!) - remember there's no tv.
Gas, Dunkin Donuts, Hannaford Grocery store only a mile or two away. Very convenient.
Definitely visit: Hussey's General Store, Red Barn in Augusta for seafood and Boothbay Harbor for whale watching (1 1/4 hrs away)
My family will definitely rent again.
Perfect for a family reunion...several cabins avail - price point perfect.
Quiet, cozy getaway by a beautiful lake - a family favorite, for sure! We love going up to China for a relaxing weekend away. The lake is huge but never too busy! The cabins are in a great location to explore a nearby marsh by canoe or kayak, and the lakeside lawn is a great place to sunbathe and relax. If you have a motorboat, head to the northern shore of the lake for an afternoon ice cream!

The China area offers convenient shopping at Hannaford Supermarket and dining at the China-Dina Restaurant. Plenty of friendly people! China, Maine is 15 minutes east of Augusta, the capitol of Maine, for flights and easy highway access. Coastal Maine is within half hour away. Camden and BoothBay just shy of a hour to drive. Two hours north is white water rafting down the Kennebec River. One of our favorite family events!!
Renters will need to bring linens. Linens are not provided.
