Overview

Photos and Description of this Cape Foulwind holiday lodge

Lodge, 0 Bedrooms, 1 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 2)

We wish to offer people a place to stay which is both healthy relaxing and invigorating. The studio lodge is situated at 'The old Nuns retreat" at Omau on Cape Foulwind. The owners reside in the old house beside the lodge where they have lived for 28 years. The retreat lodge itself is comfortable and relaxing and has everything we believe you need to chill out and relax during your stay..

A short walk through our garden and out front you can wander down the cliff track to the beach accessing other beaches at low tide by walking through the caves. The seal colony is within walking distance with other small wild bays to explore. Certain spots are safe for swimming. Just ask.

Being a surfing and seafaring family throughout our lives my wife and I have always been involved around the sea in our work and our play. We can offer surfing guidance of the local breaks.

Fresh seafood abounds( kai moana)

There is a local pub/restaurant within walking distance.

We love sharing our place with visitors from different places and we wish your stay to be as fruitful or just relaxing as you want it to be.

Not suitable for children.

No smoking in the studio or on the decking.

Omau Retreat with Bob and Dianna as hosts, was honestly THE BESTEST place ever. Picture perfect setting, friendly, helpful and funny Bob and the most gorgeous wee Retreat ever. You can feel the love put into building this place. So wonderful, the best part about it was the warm and welcoming feel of the place, the lovely fresh smell and NO TV!!! We will be coming back for sure, words can't describe how stoked we were. Thanks Bob and Dianna you guys are wonderful! See you again xxx

The standard of this property is well over what I have experienced in this price range on Bookabach.

The standard of this property is well over what I have experienced in this price range on Bookabach. The care and work that has been expended is evident. It is beautifully furnished.
