Clean, updated, great location

  • 4 of 5

Clean, updated, and great location! The only suggestion I would recommend when renting is request the top floor so you aren’t woken up daily by the people above you.

Worst management company on the planet!

  • 1 of 5

We never made it to the property. Our stay was scheduled during hurricane Irma. Due to the weather, the flights were cancelled. Florida Beach rentals refused to refund our deposit stating "Well the power is back on now". We had no way of making it there! It is so sad that a company would take advantage of people during such a sad time. Shame on you, Florida Beach Rentals.

Another wonderful vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our second trip to this unit. The beds were comfortable, and the condo setup and accommodations were very accommodating for a large group. Booking the condo, and the ease of accessing the condo upon arrival to Tampa Bay were huge plusses. Between the pool, mornings and evenings on the balcony watching dolphins, access to poolside grills, and an ideal family friendly environment and location, we couldnt have asked for more. Thank you for another great vacation! We can't wait until our next trip down!

Two stars is being generous !!!!!

We paid a lot of money for this house which looked beautiful in the pictures, but looks can be deceiving. The location is fabulous you are around all the amenities one would need. That being said the house was not clean despite paying a cleaning fee, floor sticky and disgusting, bathroom floor filthy towels put away with hair all over them just not good. Had to call to have pool people come out pool was green and had algae in it. Such a beautiful area and home to not be taken care off. Very unhappy with what we got for the price we should have gotten the Taj Mahal. Hopefully this will sink in to someone to get better care for their property.... Would not rent again for these reasons.....

Owner's Response: The Treasure Trove units are, in fact, beautiful units. With further communication with this guest, we learned that the room in question was the bathroom. That, of course, does not excuse the fact that it was not perfectly clean. We take cleaning very seriously and only keep cleaners who consistently get the right product - not close to it, but the exact, right product. This cleaner has been reviewed and corrected by the cleaning manager at our company. Regarding the pool, the cleaner was called out three times during the guest's stay and did not arrive! As you might imagine, the use of that individual is up for a revisit also. (Note; a pool can turn green in Florida in just a single day.) We sincerely regret that these two items created a less than perfect experience. Unfortunately, the guest washed the towels into the in-unit laundry before we were able to help out. We respond immediately to calls regarding anything not proper in our units. We would have been more than happy to correct any and all issues the moment they were reported. We were fortunate to get to talk to this guest in person afterward, at least. It is a shame this guest does not want to return and we are taking steps to make sure the same does not happen again.

Great property with excellent amenties.

  • 5 of 5

We loved the property and the great amenities it offered. It comfortably housed our group of 7 adults was centrally located to a host of activity and places to dine. By the time we left we invested enough in Publix (which was less than 5 minutes away), that we should be been awarded some preferred stock. It rained quite a bit but it didn't prevent us from having a good time. The only regret was being in a unit below a family with a bunch of kids who stomped and ran starting around 6 am. The adults were no better. The floor above us offered basically no sound barrier. So there was no sleeping in. A call to the property managers yielded an apology the next day from the perpetrators. But next morning they were back at it again. Luckily for them my group were more focused on having a good time and cooler heads prevailed in a situation that could have gotten ugly. In any event we had a great time and would rent the property again. Hopefully with more considerate neighbors next time.

Truly a great experience and a beautiful home.

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at Mermaids Cove and it was a beautiful property and condo. My family of 10 was able to have room to relax and sleeping arrangements went well. One day, our friends came over with their twin babies and we were able to use the playpen that was included in the property. The property was truly amazing, especially the pool and the doc in the back. We were able to fish, and we were able to witness dolphins swimming right around the dock on multiple occasions. We also thoroughly enjoyed watching the fireworks from the dock and being able to see multiple displays simultaneously on July 4th. It was truly spectacular. The only reason that I am not giving it 5 stars is because the neighbors that were directly above us were very noisy and we could hear them running throughout their condo on a constant basis, even at 4:30 in the morning. Although that is in no way the Mermaids Cove fault, it did get annoying especially after day 4. Other than that, it is a spectacular property that I would love to visit again and probably will do so in my future. Treasure Island is truly a remarkable and beautiful place. Everything was in walking distance and the people were amazingly friendly. There is really no need for a car unless you absolutely want one. We did venture out to Tampa Bay and to Clearwater Florida and had a great time there as well. Overall, this was truly a wonderful place to stay and I thought it was a tremendous value.

Owner's Response: That's unfortunate about the heavy footfalls upstairs. It sounds like this was an overall positive vacation for these guests. These units are large with balconies that overlook the pool, the docks, and the water.
