Overview

About the property

3 Bedroom/2 Bath mid-century beauty minutes from downtown

What makes this home unique is the setting. You'll feel like you're coming home to this beautiful East Nashville neighborhood called Brush Hill Road. The lawn is pristine and green throughout the year and the home is a beautifully maintained rancher with original hardwood floors, local art, and hotel quality amenities. --- There are three bedrooms and our guests constantly rave about the comfortable beds and bedding. Upstairs, one bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. There is an upstairs bathroom that is beautifully renovated with marble and a tiled tub. Downstairs you'll find the master suite which includes a king bed and en suite bathroom with tiled tub. There are also two very comfortable memory foam cots available for use. This property sleeps a maximum of 8 guests. --- If you're in the mood to catch up on news or watch a movie, the living room has a 55" flat screen Sony TV with HD cable including HBO. And the star of this home (according to many reviewers) is the Pioneer/Bose turntable sound system with an excellent selection of vinyl records. This system sounds SO GOOD. --- Did we mention that we love pets? The back 1/2 acre of this property is fully fenced so your dog(s) can run free! The fence is 5' high, totally secure, and dog proof. And there's NO PET FEE! We think that people who travel with their pets are the best guests around. If you don't have pets, we welcome you too! The home is always scrubbed perfectly clean upon each arrival, so pets or not, you'll love this house. --- If you want to cook while you're here, you'll enjoy the fully equipped kitchen. Every gadget and appliance you need is available including a coffee pot, Keurig, microwave, toaster oven, and a variety of high quality pots, pans, and dishware. Sit down for a meal at the 6 person antique hardwood dining table, or take the meal outside on the back deck where you have your own charcoal BBQ grill and also a propane grill. Your only problem is that you won't want to leave!

It is 15 minutes to downtown Broadway, 10 minutes to all the East Nashville hot spots, 10 minutes to Opryland and 15 minutes from the airport.

Although it is close to every city attraction it has a rural feel and is located on a street which winds along the Cumberland River. Country living in the heart of the funnest city in America!

About Brian Irwin

The owner, a Nashville musician/songwriter, resides in the separate smaller dwelling at the back of the property with his two friendly dogs, Scooby and Luka. They are mixed breed Spaniel/Daschund mutts and get along very well with people and other dogs. Check out the reviews to see how much the guests enjoy the host! If you need any travel suggestions or local information, he has great insider's knowledge about cool things for visitors to check out they may not find in a guidebook. That being said, he respects all guests privacy and only interacts if he's solicited to do so. He is also very handy so if there is a question about the house (laundry, HVAC, TV and cable etc..) he is always available to fix any problems that may arise.

I moved to Nashville in 2012 after falling in love with the city over many trips here. I work in the music industry and I've lived all over the world but I have never been in a place where the people live and breathe songs like they do here. The whole community has an artistic feel and you can find restaurants, shops, bars and coffee houses that beat any major city in America. People live here because they want to and that makes Nashville a very happy place. I hope you love it as much as I do too!

Why Brian Irwin chose Inglewood

This property is located in the Brush Hill Road neighborhood of Inglewood, one of the most picturesque areas of East Nashville. You'll be wowed by the upscale mid-century homes on large lots, tree-lined streets, quiet woodland hideaways it's all just a quick hike from the energized center of East Nashville. East Nashville’s Five Points have been bustling for some time now, but Inglewood has been staking its own strong claim as an Eastside destination. Inglewood has the popular coffee shop Dose, the Inglewood Lounge (a cocktail bar/eatery led by Actual Food’s Dan Forberg), Sip Coffee Shop, and Chinese/Southern fusion restaurant TKO.

The place is a GREAT LOCATION. With quick access to Briley Parkway, Ellington Parkway, I-24, and I-65 this home is a very easy/quick to drive (or Uber) to all of the top Nashville attractions: The Grand Ol' Opry is 4.3 miles away (8 min) - The Nashville International Airport is 11 miles away (12 min) - Tootsies Orchid Lounge on Lower Broadway is just 7 miles away (15 min) - 5 Points, East Nashville is just 4 miles away. One more feature to mention is that this home includes PARKING. Many Air B&Bs in Nashville/East Nashville (especially the 5 Points area) don't have good parking. This home has a nice long driveway that accommodates up to 4 cars. (Trailers are not allowed).

What makes this house unique

A veterinarian lived in the house before I bought it and she had the back 1/2 acre fully fenced with a 5 foot high chain link fence which is fully dog proof. The gate has a padlock on it which is locked at all times. I welcome pets and they seem to really love playing in the large yard. If your pets are sociable with others they will have a ball playing with my dogs. If they are not I am respectful and will make arrangements so that they are not sharing the yard at any time. The front 1/4 acre is for the exclusive use of the guests and although it is not fenced it is and excellent private park for them to roam around on with a leash.

Perfection

We had the most wonderful time staying at Brian's rental home in Nashville. The home was beautiful, super clean, and had everything we needed to cook several meals there. Brian was an excellent host and we highly recommend anyone stay there!

Beautiful space for a family

  • 5 of 5

The entire stay was wonderful. Brian greeted us upon arrival and was available for any questions throughout the stay. Everything felt very private, while being close to main roads. The linens were very comfortable and plush. The shower was fantastic. We were able to stay with 6 adults and 3 dogs and did not feel like we were on top of each other. The large dining table for meals and family games was one of our favorite parts. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay

  • 4 of 5

The house had a cool vibe to it. There was 8 women in my party and we had a great time. Brian was very helpful with whatever we needed. The house was very close to the Opryland Hotel and only a 15 minute uber ride to downtown. If we go back we will stay in the same house. We celebrated our Chrismas Bunko this year in Nashvile and had a blast.

Paradise in Nashville

  • 5 of 5

Paradise and Perfection!! We stayed at Brian’s home from 11/13-11/19. It was our dream to vacation with our two dogs. From the moment we arrived, Brian made us, and our dogs, feel very welcome and at home. The home was absolutely perfect and had everything you could possibly need. We loved playing records and dancing to oldies. Our pups loved running around the huge fenced yard in the cool fall air. The location of the home is in a beautiful neighborhood and close to everything in Nashville. We highly recommend this home if you just want to relax in a country setting or hit the town. We had such an amazing experience in Nashville and plan to return as soon as we can. We highly recommend this property and cannot say enough good things about the owner.

Beautiful property and wonderful hospitality

  • 5 of 5

I went to Nashville with 3 girlfriends for a conference and this house was perfect. The beds are comfortable, and the house is decorated very nicely. We felt as if we were in a friend's home, rather than a rental. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the back yard and taking in the sounds of the birds while eating our lunch. Really very lovely. The house is 15ish minutes from downtown--a quick drive. Brian was a great host, making himself available to us when we needed him. This was my first time to Nashville, and I would love to go back, just for fun. I would stay here for sure. Thanks Brian!
