My house is a beautifully maintained rancher with original hardwood floors throughout. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with two twin beds. There are also two memory foam cots which can be set up to comfortably sleep a total of 6 people. There is an additional master suite with a king bed and bathroom available as well for a charge of $40 per night
The property is 3/4 acre with the back 1/2 acre fully fenced so your pet can run free like it is it's own park. Every amenity in the house is up to top hotel standards. The beds have new firm mattresses with memory foam toppers and high thread count cotton sheets. The pillows are feather with hypo-allergenic spares. The kitchen is equipped with a ton of cooking gadgets and the back deck has both a charcoal BBQ and a propane grill for the outdoor cooker. The TV entertainment system has every premium cable channel as well as a Blu-Ray player and Sega vintage video game console. There is also a working 1970's record player console and tons of books and board games.
It is 15 minutes to Broadway, 10 minutes to all the East Nashville hot spots, 10 minutes to Opryland and 15 minutes from the airport.
Although it is close to every city attraction it has a rural feel and is located on a street which winds along the Cumberland River. Country living in the heart of the funnest city in America!
The third bedroom and bath is available for an extra charge of $40 per night. Contact me if you are interested and I will adjust the invoice.
I moved to Nashville in 2012 after falling in love with the city over many trips here. I work in the music industry and I've lived all over the world but I have never been in a place where the people live and breathe songs like they do here. The whole community has an artistic feel and you can find restaurants, shops, bars and coffee houses that beat any major city in America. People live here because they want to and that makes Nashville a very happy place. I hope you love it as much as I do too!
Brian Irwin purchased this house in 2012
The house is located in the Inglewood neighborhood of East Nashville. The properties are much larger than in the 5 Points area and there is a much more rural country feel even though it is a quick drive to all of the best bars, restaurants and honky-tonks. You can take the back streets to some of the best coffee shops, music venues and brew pubs that this hip part of town has to offer. Plus when you are done checking out the town you can chill out on your own private beautiful outdoor deck or watch your favorite movie or sports team on a top of the line entertainment system.
A veterinarian lived in the house before I bought it and she had the back 1/2 acre fully fenced with a 4 foot high chain link fence which is fully dog proof. The gate has a padlock on it which is locked at all times. I welcome pets and they seem to really love playing in the large yard. If your pets are sociable with others they will have a ball playing with my dogs. If they are not I am respectful and will make arrangements so that they are not sharing the yard at any time. The front 1/4 acre is for the exclusive use of the guests and although it is not fenced it is and excellent private park for them to roam around on with a leash.
Four of my friends and I came to Nashville for a girls weekend and couldn't have asked for a better place to experience Nashville. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and we were able to take an Uber for only $15 downtown. The house was very clean, despite some dead bugs in cobwebs, and the beds were very comfortable. The homeowner worked close with me to make sure our stay was a good one. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was also very clean. The extra charge for the King bed suite was well worth it too. If we come back to Nashville for another girls weekend, I would definitely be looking into using this house again! Thanks, Brian!
Had a great time in Nashville and at Brian's house. Easy and close to all the atttactions. Would stay again and would recommend his place to others.
The house was awesome! It was maybe 10-15 minutes from Broadway. Brian was great. He was so nice and so helpful. One of our girls forgot a shirt and he shipped it back to her for free. We had so much fun during our stay!
Our family went for a long weekend to celebrate my daughter's completion of her residency as a veterinary specialist. There were six of us. I cannot say enough about Brian! He was such a wonderful host. What a cute home. Antiques everywhere. the beds were soooooooo comfortable. Location was good. All six of us took Uber downtown a couple of times and it was about $21. The icing on the cake - the BAD A** turntable and Bose speakers in the living room, along with a collection of vinyl. We had so much fun listening to the music of Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, and tons others. And the little flowers on the icing of the cake - Scooby and Luca, Brian's dogs, who came to visit us whenever we were sitting out on the deck. I'm sure we will go back one of these days! Thanks so much Brian!!
The house was just as pictured! Brian was an excellent host. Super close to downtown it was the perfect place to stay for a girls weekend! I would defintely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Nashville and wants more space than a hotel room and doesn't need to stay downtown.
Brian was a great host. Brian was very helpful with local area restaurants and advice on where we could go. Property was close to downtown Nashville. Kids loved the record player and he kept a variety of music available for use. He was always available with answers to our questions and kept in close contact with us on our trip going down to Nashville so he would be present when we arrived. The only thing I would say that his place needed was more tv's. There is only one and the kids all wanted to watch different programs. But the tv that was there had plenty of channels. Would not hesitate to rent again. Would recommend to anyone visiting Nashville. Very clean place with two bathrooms and plenty of linens. A lot of room to move around in. Thank you very much Brian for being a great host.
Less than 10 minutes to all of the East Nashville hot spots, under 15 minutes to Broadway and downtown
