About Brian Irwin
The owner, a Nashville musician/songwriter, resides in the separate smaller dwelling at the back of the property with his two friendly dogs, Scooby and Luka. They are mixed breed Spaniel/Daschund mutts and get along very well with people and other dogs. Check out the reviews to see how much the guests enjoy the host! If you need any travel suggestions or local information, he has great insider's knowledge about cool things for visitors to check out they may not find in a guidebook. That being said, he respects all guests privacy and only interacts if he's solicited to do so. He is also very handy so if there is a question about the house (laundry, HVAC, TV and cable etc..) he is always available to fix any problems that may arise. I moved to Nashville in 2012 after falling in love with the city over many trips here. I work in the music industry and I've lived all over the world but I have never been in a place where the people live and breathe songs like they do here. The whole community has an artistic feel and you can find restaurants, shops, bars and coffee houses that beat any major city in America. People live here because they want to and that makes Nashville a very happy place. I hope you love it as much as I do too!

Why Brian Irwin chose East Nashville
This property is located in the Brush Hill Road neighborhood of Inglewood, one of the most picturesque areas of East Nashville. You'll be wowed by the upscale mid-century homes on large lots, tree-lined streets, quiet woodland hideaways it's all just a quick hike from the energized center of East Nashville. East Nashville’s Five Points have been bustling for some time now, but Inglewood has been staking its own strong claim as an Eastside destination. Inglewood has the popular coffee shop Dose, the Inglewood Lounge (a cocktail bar/eatery led by Actual Food’s Dan Forberg), Sip Coffee Shop, and Chinese/Southern fusion restaurant TKO. The place is a GREAT LOCATION. With quick access to Briley Parkway, Ellington Parkway, I-24, and I-65 this home is a very easy/quick to drive (or Uber) to all of the top Nashville attractions: The Grand Ol' Opry is 4.3 miles away (8 min) - The Nashville International Airport is 11 miles away (12 min) - Tootsies Orchid Lounge on Lower Broadway is just 7 miles away (15 min) - 5 Points, East Nashville is just 4 miles away. One more feature to mention is that this home includes PARKING. Many Air B&Bs in Nashville/East Nashville (especially the 5 Points area) don't have good parking. This home has a nice long driveway that accommodates up to 4 cars. (Trailers are not allowed).
What makes this House unique
A veterinarian lived in the house before I bought it and she had the back 1/2 acre fully fenced with a 5 foot high chain link fence which is fully dog proof. The gate has a padlock on it which is locked at all times. I welcome pets and they seem to really love playing in the large yard. If your pets are sociable with others they will have a ball playing with my dogs. If they are not I am respectful and will make arrangements so that they are not sharing the yard at any time. The front 1/4 acre is for the exclusive use of the guests and although it is not fenced it is and excellent private park for them to roam around on with a leash.

Brian is a great property manager with great knowledge of the area. We would def stay here again.
Stay here - you won't regret it!
This place is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Short drive (10-15min) to Grand Ole Opry area, Downtown and the airport. Has a rustic feel, working fireplace and a great stereo with turn table with great music that we thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of interesting collectibles in the house too. Beds, bathrooms and kitchen all clean and well equipped. The owner, Brian lives on the property in a completely separate building in the backyard. I communicated with Brian a few times before our trip with questions and he was very responsive and helpful. He could not have been more accommodating when our flights were delayed and we went back and forth about what time we'd be arriving. Do not pass up a chance to ask him for recommendations for local dining and music. His recommendations turned out to be the highlights of our trip! Don't miss out on a visit to the Nashville Palace! Also, our group was all dog lovers and Brian's dogs Scooby and Luca were another highlight of our visit - they are so sweet and friendly, we all wanted to bring them home with us. But if you are not dog-people don't worry, Brian wouldn't let them mingle with you if that is not what you wanted and there are no traces of the dogs in the rental house. If you are looking for a home rental in the Nashville area, Brian's place is a great choice. We would certainly stay here again. I will take this opportunity to thank Brian once again. We enjoyed meeting and talking with you and of course Scooby and Luca and we appreciate you being so welcoming and friendly. Hope our paths cross again!
What a great stay we had. Host lives on site and is a wealth of local info as to where to go that the locals like. The house had plenty of room, it was super clean, the kitchen had about anything one would need. Everyone in our group loved the shower heads, great water pressure. There is a nice large deck off the back, plenty of shade which is nice in the evenings. It wasn't too far from downtown or the Opry and was convenient to Briley Parkway. The fact that it is pet friendly was a plus for us. Would definitely recommend and will remember this property on any return trips. The only reason for less than a 5 star on property cleanliness is we felt the host could have blown the leaves off the deck, because inside the house was spotless.
Great place in Music City
We had a great time in Nashville, and Brian's property was an excellent place to stay. He was very responsive; when there was a problem with the Internet, he was quick to call the service provider to get it fixed. He gave us several suggestions for places to eat and things to do, and we loved talking music with him! He has an awesome turntable stereo system in the house and lots of interesting decorations. We enjoyed a friendly and comfortable visit, and hope to return!
Our daughter just moved to East Nashville so we were looking for a place that was close to her and allowed pets. We hit the jackpot!!!! Brian’s place was AMAZING!!! He was so kind to meet us when we first arrived, walked us through everything and made sure we didn’t have any questions. His place is very uniquely decorated with lots of vintage items. Very cool and very cozy!!! The kitchen was huge and stocked with everything you could ever need. The bedrooms so comfortable. We stayed in the downstairs master suite which had direct access to the back yard. That back yard is huge!!! Our dogs loved it!!! The location is so close to all the restaurants and shops as well. I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. It is by far the best place we’ve stayed at with our pets and we’ll definitely be back!!!
Wonderful, Cool Nashville home
We really loved staying at Brian’s home in Nashville. His recommendations were spot on and was a very gracious host. The house was perfect for our family get togethers since we were celebrating my niece’s wedding in Cedarwood it also was perfectly situated between the wedding and the city. The Suite with the King bed was very comfortable and the trees were so peaceful. We will definitely stay again when we visit. Thanks Brian for being so accommodating!
Less than 10 minutes to all of the East Nashville hot spots, under 15 minutes to Broadway and downtown
