Photos and Description of this Saunderstown holiday cabin

Very Private Designer Coastal Rhode Island Cabin With Woodsy Charm. Hot tub.

Cute as a button designer cabin with miles of hiking and biking trails. Home featured on Houzz.com Around the corner from historic Wickford and minutes to Newport, Providence and the best beaches on the East Coast. Sleeps 6 with 3 full baths plus sensuous outdoor shower. Hot tub, fire circle, screen porch, central AC, and brand spanking new. Incredible privacy but proximal to all that coastal Rhode Island has to offer. The perfect graduation, vacation, beach, jazz fest, folk fest, air show or regatta home base. Beautiful pond and stone wall views from two large (and one intimate) deck. Private, elevated master suite with double tub and glassed shower. Downstairs comfy TV room, second bed and mud room with wood stove and tiled glass walled shower bathroom with granite counters throughout. Two memory foam queen beds plus super comfy pull out couch. Wifi, DVD, cable flatscreen. Library. Propane grill plus fire circle grill surface. Two acres of flora and fauna buried deep within 45 acres of protected watershed. Pure, delicious well water. All linens, 2 beach chairs, 2 SUPs and 2 kayaks on hand. Firewood and kindling on hand. Lively mountain-ish decor. Small enough for an intimate lovers get away but large enough for a unique family gathering. Pond access, like the home, is remote and, like the home, is not appropriate for unsupervised children.

Why Tim Warren chose Rhode Island Coastal

Being a lover of wood and dale, I fell in love with this property and knew I was going to buy it while still on the driveway with the realtor. I was not dissuaded when I arrived at the "house" which would best be described as a reject unabomber shack. I renovated the two room (the second being the bathroom) abode and raised son Kurt and golden retriever Palmer. A second larger renovation was completed in 2013 which consisted of three additions off the original 20X28 foot print.

What makes this cabin unique

This home uniquely combines features of nature and privacy while retaining a closeness to the greater Rhode Island coastal community and exhibits all amenities of modern living.

Wonderful place

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed staying at this rental. Tim, the host was very good in getting the hot tub fixed. The location of the rental was very private and serene. The home was very lovely and close to shopping , sightseeing.,and restaurants. Be sure to check out the restaurant Crazy Burger ,as recommended by Guy Fieri of Food Network. The beach was very nice and close to rental. We enjoyed Cliff Walk in Newport the most. We also appreciated that we could bring our 2 dogs with us. We highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful week in Saunderstown

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a relaxing and comfortable week in coastal Rhode Island. The location of Tim's home was a perfect base to explore the surrounding areas including the town of Wickford, beaches, or just some hiking in nearby woods or nature preserves. The home itself was very enjoyable - from an early morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the pond in the distance, to a late night dip in the hot tub and s'mores on the fire pit... We are a foodie family and enjoy cooking in quite a bit - the well equipped kitchen was therefore much appreciated, as was the Sonos sound system throughout the house. Our dog Remy also enjoyed himself immensely! Tim was responsive and professional - we already hope to return!

The Place Was Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time ever and would go back tomorrow. Everything about the place was great; from the moment we walked in the owner had the place spotless and clean. Tim was very accommodating and professional. For anyone looking at staying here do not let the drive in intimidate you; it adds to the character of staying at this wonderful place.

Perfect week

  • 5 of 5

We returned back to RI from VA to get married. Tim's home was the absolute perfect setting for the week surrounding our wedding. It was perfectly private and relaxing. We brought our dog, he had a great time napping on the deck!

Peacful place in the woods

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week in this lovely cabin in the woods. As we travel with our dogs, their comfort and safety is paramount to us. They, as did we, enjoyed our long walks in the woods. We are from RI and found the cabin to be centrally located to all of the places we were going to. The photos as descriptions are point on. The cabin is comfortable, well equipped and immaculate. We hope to be able to stay their again.
