We have stayed in quite a few VRBO's and this one was hands down the best. You can tell the owners take pride in this home. They left us 2 bottles of wine to enjoy. That was above and beyond of what most would do. The back deck is awesome. They have everything you need to have a great time. Crab nets, fishing poles and even the outside cooker to cook your catch. Very neat and clean. And to some it may not be a big deal but they have night lights and they have important phone numbers you may need on display. To me that shows that they want you to have a good time without any worries. Not far from New Orleans at all. Hope to stay there again.
Being a Louisiana Girl Born & Raise North Louisiana, this was my 1st experience staying on the Marsh Lands. This Property was AWESOME & had everything we needed. I loved the crabbing & We Boiled what we caught. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Memories were made that will last a lifetime
My wife and I chose this VRBO for my 53rd birthday. It was nearly perfect; convenient to New Orleans but far enough away to avoid the drama of the city. The view was fantastic and we spent a lot of time on the dock or balcony. Because it was covered it was pleasant during a couple of thunderstorms. The home was well appointed and comfortable, the newspaper was delivered each day. There was also a room on the dock well stocked with fishing gear and crabtraps and all the necessary gear for a crab boil. My wife and I both kayak, so we immediately noticed the 2 kayaks on the dock which we would have used if we had more time, there were also life vests in the room on the dock. The home was clean and the jacuzzi tub would have been appreciated if we could have gotten it to work. Wireless internet and television were available, but we spent almost no time using them. I can say that once I connected our tablets rhe signal was strong and stable. There were two bedrooms and two bathrooms so there would have been plenty of room for more people. The one thing that was bothersome was the busy road right outside. At times traffic was heavy and it could be a bit loud. We found out after we got there that we could have brought our dog, so pet families should keep that in mind. Our 2 teenage daughters are in school so they couldn't come with us, but they would have loved it. I would strongly recommend this VRBO.
This home was perfect! Very comfortable. I really enjoyed the outdoor space . The sunsets were incredible. I highly recommend this home and I will definitely return!
The house was awesome. This was our 2nd time staying there and we will continue to stay here as long as we keep coming to Louisiana. We couldn't ask for anything more. We are very thankful.
Great getaway. Beautiful house and scenery. Loved fishing and crabbing under the deck. Kids had a blast. Was hot but the deck shade was a relief while hanging and fishing. Watch out for the gators! Some were a little to friendly and would attack the crab nets.
