Great downstairs unit in an up/down duplex within walking distance to many Nashville amenities, including Vanderbilt, Hillsboro Village shops and restaurants, Belmont University, and Fanny Mae Dees and Centennial Parks.
Also check out our upstairs listing - http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p387618 - to see our solid reviews and rental history. We used to live in the downstairs unit and it was such a wonderful spot but our family just outgrew it.
- Great walking neighborhood with sidewalks and mature street trees

My husband and I are both trained as architects. I work as a designer and architect in a local firm. My husband is originally from Nashville and works for a student housing company. We also have two daughters, ages 6 and 8 mo.
Rachel and Edward Martin purchased this apartment in 2010
The location is fantastic. It's a great walking neighborhood. We bought this house with the intention of converting it to single family but had such success and positive feedback after 4 years with the upstairs rental that we decided to buy a house for ourselves 4 blocks away and continue to rent the duplex.
This neighborhood (and the couple of streets around us) really are the closest you can get to downtown without actually being in the 'city' or more urban core. But two blocks away and you're in midtown. It's the perfect mix of quiet relaxing location and proximity to the action.
This was a great place! Very close to downtown but in a nice neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware, and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing is that the bathroom has very little counter space.
We had a wonderful week in Hillsboro visiting our daughter over the Thanksgiving weekend. The house is in a great location. Very quiet street. It was clean and well-stocked with linens, etc. Rachel and Martin were very responsive to a minor issue we had. They were here the next day to address it. We certainly hope we have the opportunity to stay again.
I had a really good experience and plan to rent again. Rachel was extremely responsive and very accommodating with our requests. Great visit!
Great location in quiet and safe neighborhood, walking distance from park and restaurants. Clean and comfortable. Short drive to honky tonk row and the hub of Nashville. Would highly recommend for families and couples.
My friends and I just stayed at this property for 5 days and we loved it! Very cute place, all the amenities we needed, and a great location! Our Uber/Lyft rides were usually around $7 to downtown Nashville. We would stay here again!
This sweet home was perfect for our family of 4 including two small kids. The two bedrooms were very comfortable and living space was very nice. When we had trouble with the air conditioning the owner was very responsive and it was fixed within an hour which was so appreciated! We loved the quiet street and perfect neighborhood. We walked to Hillsborough Village for breakfast one morning and played at the dragon park on they way home. We felt very much at home in this beautiful home! Thank you!
