Great Chicago Condo!

  • 5 of 5

I was very happy with our stay at this property. It was represented very well in the photos and the owner couldn't have been more accommodating! Isabel went so far as to drive my husband around the blocks to show him where there was extra parking and the best routes to get downtown! She even went out and got a pack-n-play for our granddaughter! She was SO nice! She has a great notebook with tons of information of the area, bus routes, restaurants, etc. The condo was very clean and the beds & pillows were really comfortable. Plenty of room for all 6 adults and one infant. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity as well. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone interested in visiting Chicago!

Excellent townhouse, helpful owner

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this townhouse for several weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Isabel was informative, reliable, and easy to work with throughout the process of booking and preparing for my visit, as well as during my time in Chicago. The townhouse is within an easy walking distance of the University of Chicago, several key bus stations, and many restaurants and sites of interest. The property was in impeccable condition when I arrived, with an especially good kitchen (plenty of pots, pans, and utensils, as well as plates and glasses). The doors are secure and the presence of U. of Chicago security officers across the street added to a feeling of safety at this location. In sum, a highly recommended property.

Awesome property! Great location!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay here was excellent! First of all, Isabel was absolutely amazing and so available to answer questions and give information. She was even so kind as to accommodate my request to not use fabric softener on our bedding and to remove any artificial air fresheners (i.e. glade plug ins, etc) because we have some sensitivities. The townhouse itself was VERY comfortable, clean and perfectly stocked with everything we needed. I traveled with my two small children, my mother and my sister, and for 3 days of the stay also had my husband and oldest son there. There was an air mattress with bedding ready in the closet for us, so everyone had room to sleep. The location was great as we split our time between downtown and visiting family in Indiana and southeast Chicago. We were so close to Science and Industry we could have walked if the weather had been better. There is a bus stop across the street, which we only utilized once, but it was nice to have public transit so readily available. We mostly drove where we needed to go (and paid a fortune for parking of course), because I couldn't manage my two little ones and a big stroller and our gear on and off the bus by myself. However, if not traveling with little ones that bus is a HUGE perk! But, the drive into downtown was quick and easy if you choose to go that route. Isabel had informed me that she didn't think my minivan (2012 Sienna) would fit in the garage, but there was free guarded parking across the street. I managed to squeeze it in there and squish myself out the door. We just loaded and unloaded everyone and everything else in the driveway, then pulled it in and shut the door. There was a local market there that I found a little pricey, but there is a neighborhood wal-mart quite close that had all the groceries you might need. The kitchen was well stocked and we even used the grill one night. Again, if the weather was better the college campus across the street would have been great to walk around. It was a great stay and we felt very safe there! The price is incredibly reasonable and we would definitely stay there again when we get to make another trip back!!

Kansas City

Great location...Great space for families.

  • 5 of 5

Location is great with many restaurants within walking or delivery distance. Plenty of space on multiple levels so everyone can have their own space.

Garage is available but as advertised is small. Not a problem though as we were able to find parking right across the street.

My wife was pleased with the safe feel of the condo and campus security was always visible.

Thanks for a great of the few available south of downtown.
