Hello, we are Jeff and Gina Paglialonga, owners of TeemingVR (Teeming Vacation Rentals). Our love for travel spans decades as does our romance (high school sweethearts, fellow UF graduates, married 30+ years with four children, traveled to 6 out of the 7 continents). Guestbook comments from the manager

We loved our stay at this amazing condo. This was our fifth vacation in St. Augustine and so far the best we have spent. Our two young daughters thoroughly enjoyed playing on the beach and the pool. Since the property is gated, with access codes to get on the beach, we could allow our kids to play safely in the pool while monitoring them from the balcony and viewing the beach. We also visited the Kennedy Space Centre in Orlando which is just an hour and a half drive from the condo. The condo is well maintained with new electronic gadgets. We look forward to coming back soon. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. Thanks for the beautiful place.

Had a great time staying at Barefoot Trace. Pool and proximity to beach are wonderful. Condo was clean. Beach chairs are handy.

The inside of the Condo didn't have the appeal as the view out the glass doors!

  • 3 of 5

Although it was clean, I was a little disappointed w/the condition of the Condo. Our first introduction was a chipped black metal storm door. Having opened the door, there was a broken keypad on the right of the door frame which was falling out and not working. Driving down to FL, I reread the info from the owners re: their purchase, their children and family etc. I thought it was very personable and while appreciating how important their Condo was to them, I was expecting something a bit more decorated and maybe pristine. Upon entering, we carried some groceries into the "70s" kitchen w/the little heart border wallpaper. It would help the looks of the kitchen to clean and shine up the fronts of cabinets with maybe a little white knob on cabinet doors to indicate "where to open them". Having said that, the kitchen was well stocked w/pots and pans, place settings of dishes and flatware, as well as serving dishes, cooking utensils. There were lots of clean fresh towels in a drawer. The dishwasher was new. Base of kitchen sink leaked water from the very beginning. The spray hose worked but was entirely disconnected from the sink! The flooring in the kitchen is faded or has a build up of wax...maybe both. The flooring under the cabinets shows the original lighter/cleaner pattern.

The general living area showed well online but the sofa has a covering that is "disintegrating" in several places and "down to the backing". Carpet could use a good cleaning. The room needs pictures on the wall...can get nice ones at resale shops or even Goodwill.

Dnrm: The black "buffet piece" was probably the best kept furniture in the Condo, functional and attractive. Chair seats tacky and I worn.

The pool water was lovely as well as the appointments around the pool.

Mstr Bdrm: first impression was a sagging mattress on the bed. Sheets were too lg and kept coming of of the bed. There had been 2 canvas pictures on the wall and one was lying on the dresser because there was no nail to hang it. Speaking of the wall opposite of bedl...there was a very low stand for TV which was not HD. You know, if one can afford to rent a place like yours, most likely they live in a nice well appointed home/condo in our case and expect the living quarters to be "as nice as their permanent living situation".

Mstr Bath: RATTY LOOKING BROWN TOWELS that could go in my garage to dry off my car!!! Beach towels soooo faded and snagged. Owners should go and look at it with a rentals eyes.

Owner's Response: Dear Cheryl, I appreciate your honest feedback. We have not visited our rental in awhile and I can see we need to contact our maintenance about updates and address issues with our cleaners. We strive to make every guest completely satisfied with their experience and I can tell that we failed to do so. I sincerely apologize that the property was not as expected. We will look into all your suggestions. Thank you for the honesty! Jeff & Gina

Ok condo in an ok location

  • 3 of 5

Property is very dated. Not one of the best rentals for the money. Not close to anything so if you just want to be on the beach it’s the place for you. Needs major updating (furniture, fixtures, carpeting etc). Bare tack strips near entrance and bathroom which nothing was done about. So many thing broken we sent emails to make sure we were not held responsible. Not a unit we would be interested in renting again

Nice view, large unit, but tired.

  • 3 of 5

This is our second year in this unit. Great location, and view. Large liviing area and master bath. But...unit is tired. The carpeting smells and permeated the air and our clothing.

Sorry for review, but had to be honest.

Welcoming and secure

  • 4 of 5

I was impressed by the building as they had elevators at each end of the building. Entry into the unit was very easy following the instructions for the key. Inside, this 2 bedroom 2 washroom unit was decorated giving a very relaxed and welcoming feel. On the balcony, as through the windows, an incredible view of space as you look over into the waters and waves rolling in and 2 boardwalks to the beach. Even though hurricane season is over, I liked the fact that this unit had rolling window covering for that season. Down below the pool was calling however it was a little too cold for me

Where do you live?

Great location.

  • 3 of 5

Unit needs update and some TLC. No instructions for use of TV's and remotes. (Would have been helpful. One of the TV's only had reception on one channel. Otherwise...great time at the beach. The owner was also very accommodating for a last minute, partial week rental. We had come to the area for a funeral and were able to spend a few extra days to relax. We were grateful for that.
