Great Stay in the Heart of Jerusalem

Cannot beat the location. We parked our car upon arrival and did not take it out during our stay. We walked to Old City as well as the Machane Yehuda shuk. The building is located near to the light rail, Mamilla Mall, as well as the Ben Yehuda Pedestrian mall and directly across from Independence Park. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and the owner was quick with information as well as help with a tripped circuit breaker. Only thing to note is that it is a first floor apartment and due to the great location, there is some street noise in the late evening, but all was quiet at night. We have usually stayed at the David Citadel, but other than missing the great Israeli breakfasts there this was a much better setup (large 2BR apartment over 2 smaller hotel rooms). and similar amenities (pool, spa etc).

We look forward to returning on our next trip to Yerushalayim.

Great apartment

This was a great apartment to stay in, great location, beautiful pool and Jacuzzi, and very friendly staff. The pull out Sofa was very comfortable and we had all of our needs met. Three things for Americans to know: you need to turn on the water heater 30 to 40 minutes before you’re ready to take a hot shower, there is no hanging shower head in the master bathroom and there was no fan in the bathrooms. Definitely worth the money. You won’t be sorry you stayed here.

Apartment was great- great location, comfortable beds, clean. Only downside was that the dishes weren't so clean when we got there, and one of the showers is more of a bath than a shower. Great parking, great pool (indoors), great gym. The front desk was very helpful, and so was the hostess. Would definitely stay there again!!

Great Apartment

We spent 13 nights at Chantal's apartment in the Jerusalem of Gold residence over the Succot holiday. The building is spectacular with 24 hour security, indoor private parking (included) and a great basement level spa that includes a well equipped gym, a very large indoor pool, a hot tub, and sauna/stream rooms in the locker rooms. The building also provides a large community succah that easily accommodated those that wished to use it.

The location can not be beat. The apartment is located 1/2 a block off King George street. Ben Yehuda is a 2 minute walk. The Machane Yehuda Shuk is less than a 10 minute walk and the entrance to the old city (Jaffa Gate) is about a 15-20 minute walk through Independence Park.

Chantal's apartment is located on the lobby level/first floor which made it very easy to access the Succah over the holiday. The apartment itself is nicely furnished with very comfortable queen beds in each of the bedrooms, a foldout couch in the common area, sitting for 6 at the dining room table and a well equipped kitchen with brand new appliances. Plenty of clean linen and towels can be found in the second bedroom closet.

For the past 5 or 6 years, at least twice a year, we rent apartments worldwide on VRBO/Homeaway. I found Chantal to be one of the most responsive owners I have ever dealt with. There are always a few minor issues and Chantal was reachable via WhatsApp, Email and Phone both before and during our stay. She was a pleasure to deal with.
