private entrance to beautifully updated and maintained two bed, one bath on quiet tree lined street close ( five minute walk) to iconic Kitsilano beach. apartment is one hundred meters from ocean and two small parks. five minute walk to fourth avenue boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. bus stop around corner to downtown vancouver and UBC. apartment has in- house laundry and a security system. comfortably sleeps four.

i was an avid cyclist until my recent (4th) cycling accident in December but hope to be back on my bike soon. my wife Alix and i spend a lot of time with our 3 daughters, their families and our grandchildren. when not cycling or spending time with my family i play a lot of duplicate bridge.

in a prior incarnation i was a senior university administrator. i went to college at the university of north Dakota and attended Simon Fraser university for my post graduate degree. i was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Perfect stay in Vancouver

Our stay with Sid and Alix was wonderful. They were so helpful with restaurant suggestions and with activities to do. Our accommodations were perfect .. Down to the bottle of wine and delicious pastries for breakfast. We were so close to so much that we walked a lot instead of driving. They are wonderful hosts and hostesses and you will thoroughly enjoy them and your stay.

We had a lovely warm welcome from our host and the surrounding community

Apartment cozy and 4 of us lived comfortably for a week.

Great location and quiet

I stayed here with my wife and 4 year old daughter in July 2018. The location of the apartment is great! It is close to Kitsilano beach, several bus routes to get into downtown, and multiple restaurants and shops.

The apartment is clean. The owner responds to email very quickly and had pastries and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived.

It is also in a quiet neighborhood, so we were all able to sleep quite comfortably.

We would definitely stay here again.

very dark and smells damp

we stayed in the apartment for 3 nights. it is very dark (one small window for the lounge and kitchen) and you need to turn the light on all day long. the apartment is furnished with all pieces of furniture especially for the armchair and soda. the carpet is pretty old. the rooms are really tiny and beds are very uncomfortable. finally since it s dark and the carpet is old, when you access the apartment you smell damp ....

The owner and the lady who welcomed us were very nice though.

very good location (1 or 2 blocks from the seashore) in Kitsilano which seems to be a trendy area in Vancouver

i would not recommend the apartment as it is much too expensive for what it is
