This property is very centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, and the Greater Los Angeles area. You can get to Hollywood in 20 minutes, and the San Fernando Valley in less than 30. Burbank airport is only 20 minutes away and LAX is 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. I'm near the MTA Gold Line, Southwest Museum station where you can buy a day pass for only $7.00 and go just about anywhere in this city in a day. I'm half a block from the Glendale freeway which you don't hear at all. Additionally it's very quiet here as I'm up in the hills. It feels like the country when you're here, but in minutes you can get to most any of Los Angeles' hot spots.
What makes this House unique
Beautiful landscape with a terraced private pool and an outdoor poolside eating area and chaise lounges. A large covered patio looks out over the pool with a seating area. A front deck looking out into the hills with another outdoor seating area. The master suite has a separate entrance off of the garage where you can park your car. The en suite bathroom has a large jetted tub, large separate shower, towel warmer, built in hair dryer, coffee/tea bar and two bath robes. The property features 3 picturesque outdoor seating areas: one on the front deck, looking out into the hills, one poolside and another in the large covered patio looking out to the pool.

I brought my daughter from MN to explore Hollywood. I was looking for something safe, quiet, and conveniently located near all the touristy spots. We hit the absolute jackpot! BEAUTIFUL home and accomadations. Judy has thought of everything one might need. Fridge, microwave, dishes, utensils. Even found a scissors for cutting the tags off all her new clothes...😁�....and she enjoyed the snacks immensely. The pool and patio are fantastic. The location was just as good. Easy travel distance to all the tourist spots. We had rainy weather and stayed here the week the Covid 19 virus caused all the cancellations. It was nice to not be in a hotel with a crowd of people and the beautiful home we were allowed to stay in brightened our damp mood from the rain. Thank you Judy for opening your home to us. I am forever grateful and sincerely hope to be back. I do have another daughter turning 17 in couple years after all...Lol. Thanks again for everything!
This property was exactly as advertised. In addition there were snacks, water and most any other thing you might have forgotten. The pool area was very relaxing. Judi is a great hostess AND enclosed garage brings peace of mind. Definitely a place I would stay at again and...it is affordable!
Wonderful Spot for Two While Visiting OXY!!
Clean, convenient, cozy but comfortable -- highly recommend this location. We'll rent again when we next visit our daughter at OXY!!
Not what we were looking for
My wife needed a nice, quiet, light place to write for a few days and unfortunately this room didn’t work for us. Rebooked within five minutes as my wife started crying. Check in easy and Judy seems very nice. It is a downstairs basement suite and a bit dark and cramped with no sitting area. Upstairs was fairly loud. Unheated pool area looked lovely.
Knew I was out of luck with a room refund but was a bit cheezed off that Judy would not refund the cleaning fee (we were there less than ten mins) or the extra guest cost.
Live and learn I guess....
There are two comfortable chairs in the room, and tons of seating outdoors. I host many business travelers who love working on their laptop on the spacious, covered, picnic table on the front deck looking out to the hills of Los Angeles. Yes. The room is partially subterranean with windows on 3 of the 4 walls as wells as tons of recessed lighting so it is not dark. I am sorry the room didn't work for George's wife's needs, however I was unable to re-rent the room on such short notice, so any type of refund isn't possible as I have expenses to cover. As for the noise upstairs..... had I been informed of any issues naturally I would've accomodated my guests immediately, as always.
The room was exactly as described with everything you can possibly need for your stay. Use of garage was fantastic for this ultra-clean property with many amenities including a fantastic view of hills from front deck. Judy responded quickly at all times. Would stay again.
A week in LA
A wonderful, cozy place to stay. Judy was great and very responsive. The room was very clean and we loved having off street parking in the garage. We really appreciated the kitchenette & the cereals and snacks. The pool area is beautiful and so relaxing to sit by.
The property is located, centrally in between Glendale and Pasadena, north of Downtown Los Angeles. The L.A. zoo and Griffith Park Observatory are only 7 miles away. The Americana at Brand is only 3 miles away. Old Town Pasadena and the Rose Bowl Stadium are only 6 miles away. The Rose Bowl has a fun antique, flea market on the 2nd Sunday of every month.
