This is a spacious, well located apartment in Woolloomooloo. Location is very good for getting into the CBD as well as the walk to Potts Point for cafes and supermarket.
The apartment however is tired - it ideally needs a full refurbishment, particularly replacement of carpets, bathroom and bedroom furniture and gain a repaint. The photos make the apartment appear in better cosmetic condition than it truly is.
Customer support is very good. I left an item in the apartment and it was no trouble to coordinate to meet the cleaner and collect.
I'd certainly rent from this company again, but I'd be wanting a more spruced up apartment next time.
Large apartment well equipped comfortable with a view of the bridge and tower, and excellent value for money for a stay in Sydney. Main bedroom is enormous!!l Located in the warehouse style Waldorf apartments, you get to use the corporate facilities such as the pool. Great having a secure car park included. Extras were free wifi, Foxtel and surprisingly generous amount of soap wash up liquid etc for a starter pack. Great eating places around wooloomooloo! Things to consider as we were caught out were that you need to negotiate stairs with your luggage from the car park or the front street to the lifts in reception. Also be aware it is a steep uphill walk to Kings cross Station and the supermarket. There is tho a petrol station at the end of the road and small convenience store, and the famous Harry de Wheeels all a flat walk. And for those who want a bit of class in their eating, the Wooloomooloo wharf provides this! Also the location whilst great to access Sydney ( could walk in) the apartment is in an area that may make some people a bit nervous.
Overall we were happy staying there, and would recommend to people who want good value and the negatives we experienced not faze them, but just take them on board. Staff at World Apartments were very helpful and we were able to pick up the key at a nearby location. Thank you for providing a great place.
We found the apt as per the photos but just more worn around the edges than expected. We were surprised by the additional fee charged to get the key delivered to the apt when we arrived. Taking a cab to their offices and then further to the apt just seemed ridiculous. The second bedroom had no lightbulbs in the ceiling fixture. We called the off hours number and it was fixed when we returned at the end of our second day. The second bedrooms closet was difficult to use because it was used to store the apts mops, step ladder, vacuum cleaner etc which left little room to hang cloths and left no floor space in the closet. Great to have a working cloths washer and dryer. Given the cost of the apt I would have expected a bit more in the way of amenities like salt and pepper and more than two rolls of toilet paper for three people over three days (we ran out). The apt was comfortable, the location great, but it was just stripped down a bit too much.
Great spot, an easy walk in to CBD or up Potts point. Explored without the need of car. Only a ferry or two. Apartment nice and plenty of space in living area.
Good proximity to CBD and Botanical gardens. Very quiet especially overnight. Comfortable beds, good sized bathrooms and spacious apartment that suited two adults and teenagers.
As a self catering apartment had most that you needed, some additional bowls i.e. salad bowl and coffee mugs would have been welcome.
Lovely apartment is a wonderful location. Close to everything we wanted to do in Sydney. Met all of our expectations. Would highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay here in a future visit to this beautiful city!
