We stayed at this cabin for a girl's weekend, and it was perfect for what we needed! The cabin was very cozy with two fireplaces, and a gorgeous deck. The upstairs was spacious and clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it for anyone looking for a Black Hills getaway.
Great location - very quiet and serene. Very clean and well-maintained. Everything was as described. The views were wonderful. We would return.
A couple minor things - several light bulbs need replaced, the dryer took multiple cycles to dry a load of laundry, and the addressed needs to be visible from the road for travelers arriving after dark, and the WiFi is terribly slow. All minor things that didn't largely impact our stay, just an FYI.
We loved this property! Well taken care of and comfortable for 6 of us. Very close to the slopes. We had never been skiing here but will definitely come back! Everything we needed was here and the site is awesome to work with, made everything very easy.
Great place to celebrate New Years. Close to terry peak and not far from deer mountain for snow tubing. Snowmobile paths close by and easy to get to. The layout of the house is great with wonderful visual decor.
Reasons for a 4 star vs 5-
Oven didn't work, turned on to make prime rib kept shutting off , unable to hold temp. Tried making cinnamon rolls, but after being in for 3 mins tops were burnt.
Not all light had light bulbs and no extra bulbs found.
Went to set table for dinner the first night, and noted last guest put all plates and cups in dirty, so needed to wash all dishes before use.
Hot tub low on water so was unable to use jets.
The cottage was beautiful very we'll kept we were blown away by how beautiful it was the view was amazing you felt like you were on top of the world. I would recommend this place to anyone
