No family vacation to the Black Hills is complete without finding the perfect rustic cabin to rest and relax in. This is precisely why this spacious, rustic-meets-modern abode will deliver all you’d ever want or need for the perfect Black Hills experience.
The lodge-inspired wood furniture and lighting create an environment that takes you back to a time where building a home was an artistic expression as much as it was a need for shelter. But the modern amenities like a full kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, and flat screen TVs will keep you in touch with all of this century’s technological thrills and comforts.
When you’re not enjoying a movie or show in the spacious living area, head out to the amply-spaced deck area and use the gas BBQ to grill up some tasty summer meals, or simply sit back and watch thunderstorms roll over the endless views of the Black Hills. You’ll also be able to dip into the private 8-man hot tub and forget those cares and worries of the daily grind.
An added luxury that comes with this home is its location – tucked back into a thick, shade-casting coniferous forest, you’ll be able to walk right out the front door and begin exploring the Black Hill’s endless recreational opportunities, from hiking and ATV-ing in the summer to cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. There’s no doubt that you and the entire family will find all that you desire out of a Black Hills vacation.

This cabin was perfect for my group. It provided all the comfort we needed after a day of motorcycling through the area.
We really enjoyed our stay at moose wannabe lodge! The scenery was beautiful and accomadations were great, plenty of room for our large family!! Hope to come back again!!
The location is terrific. The cabin was very nice, but had some concerns about the cleanliness.
We had teenagers and they were concerned with the wi-fi. We were never able to connect to the wi-fi.
It was very sporadic.
The cabin was beautiful. As a girls weekend we were disappointed there was not fire pit. We also felt the cabin was not very clean. For the $60 cleaning fee that we are charged we felt that we should not have needed to vacuum and sweep when we got there. Also the bedrooms on the main floor had wasps in them. Some were dead but others were still alive, we could not find a nest anywhere but it might be something you want to check into. Also some of the railings are pretty loose. We were pretty glad we didn't have any of our children with us. The location was great!!
