We have taken many family vacations in Tucson but this is the first time in this area. We loved it and are planning to return next year. The property was outstanding. The home itself is spacious and well appointed. The kitchen, dining area and great room were very open which was a must for our family. The outdoor space was fantastic: large enough hot tub for our family, very nice pool with a waterfall, and the added features of a putting green and bocce ball court were a daily highlight. Being a techie I really appreciated the video and sound setup, especially the Pyle driver and 2 zone outdoor sound system - we spent a lot of hours in the pool and hot tub while streaming our favorite music. Of all the places we've stayed in Tucson my family liked this the best overall.
This is my family's second year that we vacationed at this property. In my review last year I commented about the immaculate condition of the home and yard, particularly the pool and spa which is fenced in so children can safely play in the yard without being tempted by the pool. This year I will concentrate on the setting of the home. The views of the mountains on three sides are spectacular. Sunsets in particular are stunning. I just wish this website permitted photos that I took from the property. The location is convenient for just about everything, shopping and grocery stores five minutes away, but yet very private. Highly recommended
Our two families were able to have a great stay, each having private quiet bedrooms and open welcoming common spaces with all the amenities. We listened to coyotes howl while watching the full moon rise as we soaked in the perfectly heated spa. The pool was just the right temperature for a refreshing dip. The stove and outdoor grill were easy to use and high end. We love to stay again in the future.
What a great house! It was perfect for our family to relax, cook, and enjoy time off together. The house has plenty of space, the bedrooms were very nice and large, the kitchen is perfect, a great living room to watch TV, and the backyard was incredible. Pool, jacuzzi, putting green, and bacci ball. All were so great... Will 100% be booking again next year, if not sooner.
This beautiful house is only a few years old and has been well maintained. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It's a large house with plenty of room to spread out and has a large garage with an automatic door opener. The laundry room is very functional and has enough space to get your laundry done and folded. It has a very functional kitchen. We like to cook, and the gourmet gas stove welcomed us to that. It had a spacious and well stocked pantry, a nice block of knives, 2 sinks, and was open to the dining and family area with a large TV above a beautiful stone fireplace. The outdoor area had lots of seating and a large easy to use gas grill. The pool and hot tub was easy to heat and we enjoyed the use of it daily. The landscaping was so pretty, and there are rosemary bushes out there along with the flowers and cactus. The views of the mountains and sunsets were so relaxing in the evening. It's a bit far to the North of the city, but worth the peace and solitude at the end of a day sightseeing and galavanting to nearby areas. There is a book that explains how to use all the appliances, pool heater, outdoor speakers, TVs, etc. The owner did a good job with that, but we were told if anything needed further explanation, that we were welcomed to call. We had no issues, everything ran well, the pool man came and did his thing, and the gardener came and did his thing too. We came out West with friends for 3 weeks starting in Utah and rented a total of 3 Home Away homes during that time with this one being our last one and our favorite. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks, Shirlene.
Way beyond expectations!! Everything we needed was at the house. Everything we needed was close by. We had no plans to leave the house, didn't ever need to. A couple grocery runs that's it. The pool is great, house clean and comfortable. Plenty of activities at the house or away that were close by. Hiking was extremely close. There were no neighbors to worry about. We can't wait to return. We were only in the house to cook, sleep, and make drinks. Outside living. Owners were very informative and helpful! I Highly Recommend this house for a getaway. Hopefully it's available for the next time. Thank you so much for the use of your home.
