The room was very nicely furnished, very clean and in a great location. A bit on the small side but it was fine for our two kids and us. There is a little kitchenette to make breakfast and even a dishwasher. We would stay there again with no hesitation.
I absolutely loved my stay here. It was difficult to leave. It's really more of a hotel, but it's in the perfect location for sight seeing, walking in Central Park, getting on the subway to pretty much everywhere. The nearby restaurants are amazing and it's right around the corner from the Ed Sullivan theater, which we caught a show to see. It's also within walking distance of Broadway and Times Square. It's central but was surprisingly quiet.
The unit itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Incredibly spacious for New York standards. The staff was friendly and helpful and stored our bags for us prior to check in time.
I thought the value was the best I've seen in a long time. I am planning to stay here every time I return to New York. Anything else would be a disappointment.
This is a great rental and a very reasonable price. We booked this and expected a studio, but got a 1 bedroom 2 bath suite instead. The hotel is great with excellent service, a very nice common room, great business center with nice computers and a printer, and a really nice exercise room. The location of this hotel is terrific since you are right in the middle of the theatre district, close to central park, and many great restaurants nearby. I would definitely go back to this place.
We would definitely stay here again. The location was great--right by Carnegie Hall and Central Park. The room was spacious--a bedroom with a large closet, separated from the living room by a pocket door. The living room had a comfortable sleeper sofa and another large closet. A bar/kitchenette featured a dorm-size fridge, microwave, and real dishes (great for keeping and warming up leftovers from restaurants). There was also a little coffee maker and Lavazza coffee. Housekeeping was attentive and thorough, and the concierge and doormen were friendly and helpful.
Overall the property was outstanding; the room was clean, furnishings updated and staff very friendly. There was a minor problem with one of the windows, that staff attended to immediately. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in the city and experiencing midtown from just a tick off the beaten path with easy access to the park, transportation, Times Square and more...
The Manhattan Club was perfect for our stay over Thanksgiving in the city. We wanted something close to Central Park that had 2 beds and it was a great choice for us. The bedroom was spacious and very cozy and the pull-out couch in the living area was great for our 2 small children. The rooms are very clean and decorated tastefully. The location was great - walking distance to Central Park and the train at Columbus Circle. The staff was very helpful and attentive. My only complaint was that our air conditioning did not work the 2nd night and maintenance was very responsive but couldn't fix it. We opened a window and it was fine. I would highly recommend the Manhattan Club to my friends and family.
