Several issues, the owner attempted to fix with her own crap. Crock pot didn't work, she brought hers that was pretty nasty on the inside. They didn't have a pullout couch as advertised, but offered an air mattress. It had a slight leak, that a patch was attempted...with a bandaid. When we text the owner, she knew of the issue and told us it was a clean bandaid. She stated she was going to purchase a new mattress the next day. Next day came, she brought a mattress that had many stains, and she said she found it at her house. This one also had a leak, so no bueno. With the amount of people in the cabin, I layed out blankets and slept on the floor. The next day she brought another air mattress, and if you couldn't guess, this one also had a leak. She was informed again, and stated another cabin was open and we could use it to sleep. We happily agreed, but a few minutes later she stated it wasn't open. I do not recommend this cabin, and we will not stay here again.

Owner's Response: We apologize for your experience and do not anticipate this ever being an issue for another guest as the max occupancy of the cabin is 6 instead of 8. The main problem stemmed from our replacing the old and uncomfortable sofa bed with a newer, nicer couch and thereby reducing the number of guests the cabin would accommodate. This update occurred between the time when the cabin was reserved to the arrival date. Our manager offfered to cancel the reservation for you back in November, due to the change in sleeping space, or let use her personal air mattress and was unaware of any leaks. We trust that since the crockpot has now been replaced and the cabin sleeps only 6 people, the situation has been remedied and future guests will have a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Town bus route + river side location excellent. No complaint here, but for coffee addicts, would appreciated a Keurig :)

Wonderful place

  • 5 of 5

It was a very good stay. We couldn't of asked for more. Beds are very nice and comfy. the place was very clean. Fishing fantastic, perfect views, close to town, but far enough to really enjoy ourselves with peace and quiet listening to the river. Had everything we needed and could of asked for! Our kids loved it as well!

Nice to be so close to the river.

Nice overall. Beds were comfortable. I have bad knees and asked if they could put up something to help me get up & down the steps to the cabin. To my surprise, they installed a hand rail! Very nice! The only things that were a negative was the toilets running constantly, which I notified maintenance about. Such a waste of water. And, they accept pets, but there's no grass for them to potty. And parking is a problem, especially if you had more than one vehicle. Overall it's ok, but not great. But the people are super nice & try hard to resolve any problems.
