Perfect Mountain cabin!

  • 5 of 5

It was incredibly easy to work with the owners-communication was great! Clean, well maintained cabin with what I am pretty sure were memory foam beds (all 3). I would definitely stay again! We weren't able to locate an iron in the cabin-so be sure to bring one if you have garments that need pressed.

Beautiful cabin but filthy

  • 2 of 5

We loved the cabin itself. It had beautiful views and mostly what we needed. However we were overwhelmed with the filth and uncleanliness. I could have handled the fact that most of the cabin wasn't "cleaned". The first day we got there we found open food, to go nutella and bread sticks, under the upstairs bathroom. There were pretzels behind the door and food on the floor in one bedroom, marshmallows beside my bed and a bracelet on my husband's side, a comb and some toy gun stuff in the opposite bedroom. The sheet to the pack and play was soiled with what looked like feces/urine. But the final draw was after sleeping there for 2nights the sheets had came off the bed at the top corner and there was rat/mouse feces where my 3 yr old had slept with her head in that exact spot. I called Cimmaron and he came and changed out the bedding within a reasonable amount of time, brought us toilet paper and paper towels and was apologetic. I was extremely disappointed in the filth of the cabin. I felt it was unacceptable to rent out this beautiful cabin in this condition. Especially to a family with children! I was also disappointed that after submitting my payment that I never received a confirmation or any emails of check in/out times rules ect. I was happy that the owner contacted me personally twice to answer my questions and give me the information I needed promptly.
