Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the condo for 4 nights, the location was perfect. A very short walk to Broadway or Painters Alley and you are in the middle of the action. First arrival was pretty straight forward with step by step instructions. The condo itself was well appointed and had the feel of home. We didn't use the kitchen at all as we ate out for every meal but it looked as though it had all the tools needed to make your own meals. The small selection of snacks and water were a nice treat after getting from late nights.

We did find the floors in the bedroom/bathrooms needed a good cleaning, my feet were almost black from walking around getting ready after showering. The walls are very thin, there were very loud guests staying elsewhere in the complex that kept us or woke us up in the middle of the night. Not a huge deal but something to consider if you have small children or are a light sleeper.

I would definitely recommend staying here and will again if I find myself in Nashville again.

Excellent location and clean. Photos not actual unit leased. Low end furnishings - bed had a crater in the center and bedroom too small for bed - less than 10 inches on each side to pass around bed footboard. Several facility items need repair. Would stay somewhere else next time.

Great location! Converted office building - high ceilings - exposed brick walls. Lots of room and privacy for two couples exploring Nashville.

Location 5 Stars - Stay Alfred 2 Stars

  • 3 of 5

By now we have stayed in several (and prefer) VRBO-type rentals as we prefer a local feel to our getaways. This was our first time booking through Stay Alfred and I doubt we will go through them again. Although the Stay Alfred representatives were always nice and courteous on the phone, there were subtle inconsistencies from rep to rep with each call that left me wishing I was working directly with a homeowner rather than a company that owns these flats. First, when you click on one of their properties you are directed to their page and cannot directly book through VRBO which made me nervous. Second, we booked early and based our booking primarily on location and the inclusion of parking. When I called back later to add the car, I was told "sorry, that's not an option anymore." Third, upon arrival to the location we had to call into a silver box beside the door and wait. We had to call 3 times before someone would pick up and let us in, which made me and my party even more worried that we had been scammed.

Once inside and in our room, we see what others have mentioned in that you are on the ground floor of a large building located bedside other buildings and windows and natural light are scarce. If you have some claustrophobia this may not be the place for you as this was an issue brought up by one member of our party pretty regularly during our stay. There was trash still left in the kitchen can from the previous guest and and some dust bunnies in the corners but was otherwise pretty clean. We were a party of 4 and were provided with 1 bath cloth and 1 bath towel per guest for a 4-night stay. Some extras would have been appreciated.

Now for the good stuff - the location of this properly was spot on. You can walk or Uber to just about anywhere you want to go for a first-time sightseeing trip to Nashville. The brick walls, wood, and high ceilings were nice and the sofa and beds were comfortable There is more than enough space for a part of 4 to feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen was spacious although not very well stocked with supplies but we ate out most of our time there so it was not a big deal. The bedrooms both have their own bathroom which was another biggie for why we chose this location. You may want to space out showers as the hot water did not last when 4 showers were taken back-to-back.

In summary, we loved the place and would stay there again if we could work with a homeowner rather than a rental company.

Good! Great location.

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. We had a few disappointing issues. The toilet was clogged when we got here Thursday night. By Friday morning it was ready to over flow. Thank goodness we had another bathroom. Came to fix when we were gone on Friday. The worst part was we ran out of hot water after one shower. Not good when 3 others needed to shower. Also the rug in the living area did not appear to have been vacuumed. The location was great and the linens and towels were clean which is a priority.
