The loft was exactly like the picture! Modern, big and spacious! The air works great! Nashville is so hot in August, so that was so nice! Very comfortable bed and the loft is so close to everything! The parking garage was difficult. The intercom system that you have to use never worked! We had to get the attendant to let us out everytime, so would not recommend adding the 60 dollars to your stay for parking! Their is a open air lot next to the loft that's a much easier option! Overall great experience!
We loved the location as we chose to not rent a car and used our feet for the majority of the four days in Nashville. It was close to everything we needed. It was very clean and had all the amenities we required.
My husband and I traveled to Knoxville for a long weekend. Little did we know that Nashville hotel rooms are in such short supply that rates are often on par with New York City, so we had complete sticker shock. Fortunately, a little digging around on alternative lodging brought us to Stay Alfred and the Banner Lofts and we were not disappointed! The location was perfect for walking just about everywhere. The space was decorated nicely, had a comfortable bed, and a good shower. Note that the unit we had was on the first floor --- it was really quiet, and very dark (no outside-facing windows). We had an issue with the parking garage badge when we left (parking is included in the rates, compared with $30/day at hotels), and when I called the representative, she happily refunded what we ended up paying -- no hoops to jump through. It was almost shocking to have such a great customer service experience in this day and age! I will seek out Stay Alfred properties in other cities we visit.
During the planning process of a long weekend getaway to Nashville, I discovered that that hotel room space is very limited, resulting in prices on par with New York City. Ended up researching alternative stays, and the Banner Lofts from Stay Albert looked promising so I booked it (and got a discount for paying in full upfront). The unit we stayed in was walking distance to just about everywhere -- Ryman, Country Music Hall of Fame, Johnny Cash Museum, Honky Tonk music joints, etc. It was also very quiet and very dark -- no windows in first floor unit. It had nice décor, a comfy king-size bed and a good shower. There were only 2 of us and it was the perfect size. The kitchen was suffiently stocked, though we had no reason to use it. The staff at Stay Alfred was very helpful and they quickly refunded our parking fee when I reported a problem with the garage pass key upon our departure. Would definitely book with them again.
This unit is minimalistic. Has the basics. Really appropriate for 2. The pull out mattress is extremely poor. Requesting an air mattress would be the wisest option for 4 people. The shower did not drain at all. We purchased some Drano to fix that problem. Towels were minimal for 4 people. Nashville is always great Fun and the agency used was prompt to respond when arrived. No where to leave your bags when departing if u still have time to wonder the city for a while.
Overall experience was very positive - we'd return. Location was excellent to walk to Broadway. One complaint; shower faucet was defective which resulted in making a choice - cool shower or scalding hot. The choice of cool gave us a jump start in the AM to keep it positive.
