About Marea Edynak
I love to meet new people. My main home is in Florida, but I come to NYC as often as possible and know I am lucky to live in such wonderful neighborhood. It is rewarding to share my knowledge of insider places with my guests. I wrote a book for my guests, 'How to Live Like a Real New Yorker in our Neighborhood'. It give suggestions about where to eat in all price ranges, museums, attractions, grocery shopping, luxury shopping, discount shopping, how to take the bus and subway, how to find your way around the city and lots more. I also write a blog about NYC with posts about restaurants, attractions, How to get Theater tickets and other Tips for Travelers. e-mail me for the link. You don't have to stay here to read it. I hope that I can inspire you to love NYC as as much as I do. I would love to host you in my apartment! Send me a message with any questions you may have.

Why Marea Edynak chose Manhattan
A recent traveler review says it all: "“Absolute BEST place to stay with your group- can't recommend enough!” Reviewed in March 2018 Stayed with a group of 7 people for 4 days, lost one day to the snow storm and we were offered another night no questions asked. Besides the obviously wonderful location of this apartment, there are SO many things to rave about: -Great rate for a group of people 5-10 (probably too big for any smaller groups) -Very clean and well kept, they have some SERIOUSLY comfy beds. -Endless clean and HOT water (6 people showered and it was still hot!) -GORGEOUS PRIVATE GARDEN- owner has clearly worked hard to preserve it, love the string lights -We had a problem with our key/lock and the owners fixed it IMMEDIATELY without us even bugging them *And perhaps most importantly are the owners of this home- absolutely wonderful, friendly people who are sincerely invested in preserving this home while inviting strangers from all over the world to enjoy it. My group was immediately welcomed in the home, served champagne and food, and given a run-down for all the best local spots. After a hectic day of traveling, it was a dream come true. I can't imagine coming to NYC again without staying here....I think this apartment is my happy place. Soho is a quick ride south on the #6 subway which is just 2 1/2 blocks away. Or you can head north on the #6 to Museum Mile and the Metropolitan Museum. When you don't feel like walking, ride to Bloomingdale's with a stop right under the store. Madison Avenue # 1, #3 and #5 bus lines are 1 & 1/2 away and run north. The Lexington Avenue #101 bus line is on the corner 1/2 block away and runs south. Of course this being New York, you can always hop into a taxi or call car service.
What makes this apartment unique
This is the best location in Manhattan. Open Your Door and NYC is at Your Feet. You can walk to most attractions, great shopping, hundreds of restaurants in all price ranges and public transportation is minutes away. The convenient central location means being able to return home if you forget something or is someone needs a nap. Of if you just want to rest a bit. Open your door and Step outside to feel all of the energy of NYC. Close your door and find a serene haven with a private walled garden, mature trees and birds. he apartment is in an especially nice and pretty neighborhood. It is *** On a Quiet Side Street (for NYC) *** Safe to Walk Around at Night *** Near Attractions *** Larger than most Center City Apartments *** Only 2 & 1/2 blocks to the subway. It is at 118 East 30th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues, an elegant and safe neighborhood.
