We stayed at The Polynesian. Off season but the indoor water park was open. We didn't use it so I can't comment on that. No room cleaning so people throw their nasty wet towels in the hall. Lovely. Our trash piled up over the three nights.
Depressing. One ice machine on our floor was mimissg, the other was out of order. The vending machine was out of order. The bar was closed. We could not go on to our balcony because the screen door was bent and wouldn't slide. We could not open our sliding glass doors because smoke for everyone else's balcony was coming into our room. Our room smelled of stale smoke. Not many people there and we didn't even get a functioning room. This run down resort should not even be considered a vacation rental by owner. That's misleading. The pictures show rooms with living areas and kitchens. Nothing at all like the pitiful room we got. The property hasn't been updated in decades. So disappointed.
