About Tracey Aberman
I am a professional private chef that has recently opened a new cafe in town. My home is an extension of my personality and I enjoy sharing it and its energy with fellow travelers. I have lived and worked in Northeast Harbor for almost twenty-five years and think it one of the most beautiful places on the east coast. Come find out for yourself! And come say Hi at 123 Main Street Farm to Table Cafe!
Tracey Aberman purchased this Farmhouse in 2003
Why Tracey Aberman chose Mount Desert
I started my career as a chef on yachts and landed in Northeast Harbor time and time again. It was so beautiful I bought a home here and recently opened a farm to table cafe in town called 123 Main Street.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
For me, having access to Acadia for hiking and biking during the summer and fall and cross country skiing, hot baths and crackling fires in the winter is why I love my home. I love having my friends over for dinner and games but enjoy jumping into Bar Harbor for pizza and a movie at Reel Pizza equally as much. Taking a boat out the Isleford and visiting the art gallery or poking around the shops in Northeast Harbor...it is all a true delight!

Beautiful, well equipped home
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was even more beautiful in person than the photos! The property owner was truly amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property.
Beautiful Farmhouse Near Acadia
Tracey's home is a beautifully renovated farmhouse on Mount Desert Island right near Acadia national park. The home is sparkling clean and well appointed with a large kitchen, comfy beds, and gorgeous bathrooms. We absolutely loved our stay there, and it was the perfect home base for exploring Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. There is a trailhead just a short walk from the home to enter the park and a main driving entrance is a just minutes away by car. I highly recommend this property.
Thanks so much Eileen and I am so happy I got to cross paths with you at the store! I am sorry it was so rushed on my part...the end of the season is just a killer with staffing and usually it is just me in the front...no time to chat, which stinks!
Perfect to visit Acadia!
The house was wonderful. Very clean and very comfortable. Tracey has put a lot into her beautiful farmhouse!
Great Maine Getaway
We rented the house for my father's 70th birthday celebration and had a wonderful time on Mt. Desert Island. The 100 year old farm house had lots of character. The kids loved sleeping in the upstairs area and spend most of time outdoor on the swing. The kitchen was fabulous and provided plenty of space for cooking family meals. The location was perfect as access to Bar harbor and Acadia was within minutes.
We had a wonderful time in this house celebrating a big anniversary for my in-laws - we couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful, clean and cozy this house was! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia and this house made it even nicer ! Tracey was very helpful, responsive and very thorough ! Thank you Tracey for sharing your home and making our stay so comfortable and memorable !
Thanks so much Joe and Co! I am so happy you loved the house the way I do!! Hopefully we will see you again in the future...:)
The farmhouse was very clean and comfortable. The whole place is well stocked and the kitchen was wonderful. We loved it. Everything was decorated nicely both inside and also the grounds. It had everything we needed for a great stay. We like to hike and the location was great for us as it was basically in the middle of the park. A very short drive or walk to some trailheads. As far as visiting other parts of the park or some of the other small towns nearby everything was less than 20 minutes away. And it was always nice to go back to the comfort of the house We wished we could have stayed longer.
Located between the charming village of Northeast Harbor and the hopping, tourist destination of Bar Harbor, my farmhouse is ideally situated. Everything from biking and hiking (you can walk into Acadia from my back door) to the park loop to Sommes sound is less than 10 min in all directions.
