The unit is big enough for couples and a family of 5. It has a queen size bed upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. It has two toilets and 1 bath. There is high speed wifi and is great for people on business trip & vacation. We can set up the unit with a Netflix connection so you can access thousands of movies and TV series!
The building ameneties include a kiddie pool and lap pool, playground, fitness centre, function room, lounge area & a really nice park & pond just across the building. There is a 7-11 at ground floor of the building and an all day breakfast place called Milky Sunny on the other side. A posh restaurant called Kitchen1B is also just 5 steps away.
Interaction with Guests
I live in the building, so it's very easy to reach me. Your requests will be immediately addressed. :) There is also an intercom in the unit, incase you have any questions about the building/ maintenance request.
What is great about Eton Parkview is that it is in a wonderful location! It is in the heart of Makati, a few steps away from the Greenbelt, Glorietta, landmark, & SM. If you are going on a business trip, most of the big offices are just walking distance too! For foodies like me, there is a vast selection of restaurants in the area. There is a supermarket around the area too for people who like to cook. For families who just want to relax in the area, Sycip park is just right across, where you can go on picnics, play games with your kids or even fly kites! There is also a Sunday market nearby called "Legaspi Market" which runs from 8am-1pm, where you can buy organic food, local Filipino food, clothes, shoes, crafts, etc. A lot of business tourists, expat families and returning overseas filipino families prefer to live in this area because it is a perfect location for business & vacation.
It is very easy to get a cab from here. The reception guards can even help you out. From here it is very easy to go to Manila, Ortigas, Fort & the airport. The MRT is also just walking distance from here. If you prefer to hire a car & driver, we can also arrange for you.

1. What is the Check in & Check out time? Do you allow early check-in & late check-out?
We follow a standard check in time of 2:30pm, and a standard check out time of 11:00 am.
2. What is the complete address of the property?
The complete address is Eton Parkview Greenbelt 112 Gamboa Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City. The closest landmark is Greenbelt 1 mall, just a block away from Eton Parkview. From the airport, the easiest way to get here is through the Skyway, then ask the driver to take the Amorsolo exit. Ask the driver to take a right to Gamboa street. Eton Parkview is across the Washington Sycip Park & beside KL Towers.
3. How will I get the keys to the unit?
Upon arrival in eton parkview, please sign the move in form that the reception will give you then proceed to the mailbox area. The keys to your unit will be in the 18p mailbox with your name together with check in instructions. For any questions or requests, I am contactable at +-- ---- ----/ -----@-----.--- assistant, Mars resides in the area, so if you need assistance on anything, you can also contact her at +-- ---- ----.
What is required for the processing of my authorization to stay in the unit?
The building requires that all guests submit a copy of their passport ID prior to arrival. Any other valid ID is okay for Philippine nationals, but the building management requires passport copies for foreign nationals. The IDs can be sent to: -----@-----.--- at least 2 days before check in, so it could be printed out and submitted to the building management for the processing of the guest pass.
4. Is there parking in the building?
There is only 1 parking slot being rented out to short term tenants in the building. It is on a first-come-first-serve basis. The rate is Php 180.00 per night that can be paid upon arrival. If the parking is no longer available upon check-in, the Greenbelt parking is also available, just a block away from the building.
5. What does the rate cover? Are utilities unlimited?
The rate I have given is inclusive of the nightly rent for the unit, dues covering the use of all the building amenities like the pool, the gym, playground, lounge area, etc. It also includes unlimited access to the highspeed wifi in the unit & cable TV subscription.
6. Are towels, bed linens and toiletries included? How about cleaning, how often is it?
The towels extra beds and bed linens will be provided for the declared # of guests. We provide a starter kit for the toiletries like shampoo, soap and toilet paper rolls. Toiletries, water and other needs for the rest of the stay can easily be bought at the 7-11 convenience store at the ground floor of the building.
The cleaning fee included in the price is for the cleaning before check in and after check out. As this is only a very minimal fee that would be used to cover the cleaner's fees, the laundry of the sheets & towels, etc, we would appreciate if you could help ensure that there are no dishes left unwashed and that the unit is kept clean during your stay. Additional cleaning can be requested at a fee of Php 500 pesos.
7. If I need further support during my stay, who & how do I ask for help?
If it is maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, etc), you can contact the maintenance team through the intercom in the room. For collection of the Garbage, please leave the sealed garbage outside the unit at 7:00pm. The garbage collector will also ring the doorbell at 7:00pm to check if you have any garbage to dispose. If you need to leave it earlier, you can call the reception to get the garbage picked up.
Please note that we are not a hotel so the reception lobby will not be able to answer your queries. We are renting out our privately owned units, so for any questions/requests, please contact us directly. You can contact me at +-- ---- ---- or Mars at +-- ---- ----.
8. Can I have guests in the unit who will not be sleeping there?
You can treat the property as your own home while you are there! You can of course entertain your guests in the unit, just please let the reception desk know who will be coming up, so they can authorize their entry. We just limit the guests to a maximum of 6 at a time, so as not to disturb the neighbors.
9. Am I allowed to host a party in the unit?
We have now stopped allowing parties in our unit, due to damages in the unit and heavy cleaning needed after check out. Please note that if our guests hold parties in the property without our written consent, we will be charging an extra Php 1,500 for the check out cleaning.
10. Is smoking allowed in the unit?
If you booked a balcony unit, smoking is allowed at the balcony, but not inside the unit. If it is not a balcony unit, smoking areas are limited to the 8th floor pool side area & 32nd floor roof deck.
11. How many people are allowed to swim? Will my guests be allowed too? What time does the pool close?
The swimming pool is limited to the registered tenants (only the names of the people registered in the move in form) up to a maximum of 2 people swimming at a time. Eton Parkview now charges Php300 per head over 2 guests swimming at a time. Please note that names that are not registered will not be allowed to use the building amenities.
12. What are the check out procedures?
Please confirm the estimated time for the check out. Please sign the move out form at the reception. The keys can be dropped off at the 18P mailbox. It is located at the right side of the elevator at the Ground floor of the building. Please text +-- ---- ---- or +-- ---- ---- once you've dropped off the keys. Thanks!
13. What's your policy on host-guest etiquette and staff interaction?
We ask that you please do treat us and our staff & representatives with respect. We will not tolerate rude & abusive behavior towards us or our staff. Our staff is comprised of sweet, respectful and service-oriented people. They will treat you right so please also treat them right. smile emoticon
Please also note that the building is a private residential space, so please keep the noise level down, as there are other families residing in the building. We have had complaints from other neighbors before, so to avoid this, we request that our guests refrain from shouting, very loud laughter and karaoke singing inside and outside their units.
Dianne says in her profile that she wants to be a superhost but she has a lot to learn first.
Guests shouldn't have to give the host a list of the things that are needed when they arrive. The apartment should be ready with everything necessary. The dishes had to be washed before we could use them as they were all coated with grease and there were things missing like knives, tea towels, hand towels etc.
The location of the building is great being close to Greenbelt, restaurants and the local Sunday market.
We had another apartment in the same building through another host and it was excellent - well presented with everything we needed and it cost the same money.
Overall, we didn't find it good value and probably wouldn't stay again.
Booking was super easy! And communication was great...
Unit 28L - You need to make sure the air conditioning filters are clean for every arrival as I had to clean three years worth of dust off in both units, which was the main reason the AC was not working properly. And please place more air-fresheners in the unit as the sewer gases were enough to gag a maggot!
The pool is completely broken and has been for two weeks and when I spoke with 'someone in charge' they said it could be weeks before it could be fixed. Algae had already started growing in the pool, and no one seemed to care!
Other than that, it's less than a five (5) minute walk to Greenbelt, where most restaurants stay open till 11pm. Taxis are easy to get 24/7. And Mar, the Executive Housekeeper is AWESOME!
