Superb 2 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom duplex apartment with terrace, garden, parking

Your own home-away-from-home in Montreux! Enjoy Lake Geneva, the Lavaux vineyards (a UNESCO protected site), world-famous ski stations, museums, nature walks, family attractions, fine restaurants and upscale shopping just a few minutes away. Our apartment is an ideal base from which to discover all of Switzerland: a short drive from Montreux (5 mins.), Vevey (10 mins.), Lausanne (20 mins.), Villars ski (35 mins.) Geneva airport (50 mins.), Verbier ski (55 mins.), Zermatt (2 hours).

Spacious, luminous, and comfortable, our ground floor 150 m² duplex apartment accommodates 4 people.

On the 1st floor:

- Entrance hall from the common gardens and exterior parking

- Gourmet kitchen fully equipped with Zug appliances, Nespresso coffee machine, and stocked with cooking and dining essentials

- Luminous living room and dining room with French windows opening onto a large 40m² terrace with views of the Alps. The terrace is fully furnished with a dining table for 6, large sofa and coffee tables.

- Guest toilet

On the ground floor:

- Entrance hall from the underground parking

- Master suite with a spacious master bedroom with a 200x200cm Emperor-size bed with luxurious Swissflex mattresses, a master bathroom, a walk-in closet and an office/workout room with its own en-suite bathroom.

-Bedroom #2 with a 160x200cm Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom.

The bedrooms and the office have French windows opening onto a large 100m² private garden.

Additional features include:

- Loews flatscreen TV with Swiss and international channels

- Free wifi internet

- HiFi/MP3 player

- Ample storage space

The complex was lovingly developed by my husband so we can vouch for the quality of the construction and its upkeep. The apartment is in impeccable condition and comfortably fits 4 adults.

You have full access to the entire apartment with its terrace and private garden and its fully stocked kitchen. You have 2 reserved parking spaces. You also have access to the building's laundromat (free washer/dryer - we provide you with a pre-paid card you can use during your stay) and common gardens. There is an elevator.

The apartment is located in a quiet upscale neighborhood in the hills of Montreux. You will enjoy fresh air, easy access to nature walking trails, views over Lake Geneva and the Alps, quiet natural environment and the company of cows and sheep at the nearby farms.

Just 5 mins walk to the Fontanivent train and bus station with direct service to Gstaad, Montreux Station, and Vevey. A short drive to restaurants and shops, the freeway/motorway (3 mins.), Montreux (5 mins.), Lausanne (20 mins.) and Geneva Airport (50 mins.).

Your welcome gift includes a bottle of wine from our family-owned organic wine estate in the South of France, a couple of packs of Nespresso coffee capsules and bottled water. For our guests who come from Muslim countries, we will respectfully not offer the bottle of wine.

About Blen

I'm an Ethiopian, who studied in California, married a Swiss and is passionate about books, travel, music, Ethiopian history, languages, and spirituality.

We live in Spain, but our Montreux-based dear friend Françoise (who speaks French, English, German, Italian, Russian) and the building's concierges Candido and Lurdes will take care of you.

Why Blen chose Lake Geneva

The complex was lovingly developed by my husband who is from the region. The high quality construction insures that the apartment and complex are in pristine condition and the thick walls insure you never hear the neighbors. With your own private garden and surrounded by the common gardens, you feel as though you are in your own private villa.

What makes this apartment unique

We love this apartment for its calm neighborhood, the beauty of the surrounding nature, the protection from the noise and pollution of the city while being within easy access of the freeway/motorway, and the Fontanivent train and bus station. The large terrace with its dining table for 6 and double-wide sofa is ideal for dining, tanning, doing yoga while admiring the Alps, reading a book, taking a nap, having a cocktail and sleeping under the stars.

Great location! Nice and cozy family apartment.

I was staying at Swiss Bliss apartment for a month with my family in July and it was great! We were searching for a place that is quiet, has good facilities and has a nice location. This apartment met all of the expectations. The most important is that my kids really enjoyed staying there, as it was spacious enough. The parking spots provided were extremely handy as we rented a car. The owner is a very nice lady who was at assistance for anything we needed to mention. I highly recommend this beautiful place for those who are looking for the same, especially families.

Fantastic Holiday Apartment

This apartment is ideal if you want to explore the area and still have peace and quiet while you sit on the balcony drinking some of local Swiss wines. Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, we really enjoyed our stay. We purchased Swiss travel passes and had a great time exploring by train, boat and bus all of which are easily accessible from Montreux. Highly recommended.
