Simple Pleasures - 3 bedroom Gulf-front home, watch the surf from deck!

Simple Pleasures is a direct Gulf-front 3 bedroom home with beautiful views, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico beach, with nothing between you and the water, but sand.

This great vacation home features floor-to-ceiling windows in the Great Room to enjoy the fantastic Gulf views, and wrap-around covered porches to enjoy the Gulf on the south, west and east sides of the home.

Including a Keurig coffee machine As with all of our Dauphin Island homes, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. Everything you need for a great beach vacation is here, just pack your flip-flops, fishing pole and camera! The master is off the living room with a queen size bed and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has a full and twin size bed. There is additional sleeping on a futon in the living room. The living room furnishings have recently been updated There is a covered deck a gulf front deck with table and chairs for 4. There is also additional seating on the deck and a gas grill.

Very Comfortable

Simple Pleasures' location is ideal for anyone who wants a beach and gulf in their front yard! It is a very comfortable home. I can't think of anything that it was missing that would have made our stay any more pleasurable.

Dirty and out dated

The property is a PERFECT location, but is lost in the dirty inside and the updates that the property could use. I am not looking for granite countertops, but the peeling wallpaper hanging off walls in the bathrooms and the missing paint on the cabinets could be addressed. We never had to turn on the sound machines we brought for my 2 toddlers, because the sounds of the waves were heavenly and they slept great while we were there. I was excited that the property had child proof locks on the cabinets, but then quickly learned that they didn't work. If upgrades/updates are made to the property, we would come back, just for the location. But until then, we may find another property if/when we come back to the island.

Needs TLC!

Great location! House needs some TLC. Wallpaper and cabinet finishes peeling off. Couch was heavy stained and curtains in living room had mildewed. Family has been coming to the island for 40 years and have never run into a house like this.

Needs TLC

Nice little house right on the gulf needs some work and cleaning. This house needs some TLC wallpaper in the bathroom is peeling off everywhere, cupboard doors and drawers are peeling, windows look like they have not been cleaned in a year at least, bedding was stained and or ripped, furniture in living room was not cleaned between customers. Front door was covered in think dust / dirt. We get that this is in the beach and that it is a rental but for how much we are charged to enjoy the property, some money should be put into it and hire people who actually clean. This is not our first time staying in a Dauphin Island Beach Rental and it won’t be the last. We love the island, the views, the beaches, the overall vibe is what we want on vacation.
