Beautifully renovated 3 bedroom Colonial Home in the heart of Port Huron.
Has beautiful oak floors throughout home with 2 bathrooms.
Located on a double lot with double concrete drive.
Nice size backyard for family fun. One mile to the St. Clair River walk and the downtown with restaurants and harbour. Two and a half miles to the Blue Water Bridge to Canada and three miles to the beach on Lake Huron!
Kitchen was very well stocked, decorated, clean and as pictured on the web-site. It was nice to be able to cook meals and sit in the large accommodating dining room and eat as a family again, as we all live in different states and have very few opportunities to gather as one. So, we appreciated the opportunity to rent the house that allowed us to feel like a family for our stay in Port Huron.
Yes, it is in the older part of Port Huron but the surrounding area was quiet there was ample off street parking for all our vehicles and the convenience of grocery, drugstore, and fast food dining was a plus. The only issue we had was that it was a very warm week and the second story air conditioning unit is located in the master bedroom and did not circulate as well in the other two bedrooms.
Would I recommend this home to others? Absolutely, I look forward to seeing what else Bob and Jen may have to offer as rentals in the future.
The house was absolutely amazing...very BIG and spacious...Definitely worth the price...
We enjoyed our stay so much we will definitely be back again.. we met their cleaning lady while we were their and she was super nice and told us Jen and Robert also own 3 other houses as well ....I will definitely be checking out the others ones as well.... Jen was always available if I needed anything... we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or better Hosts.... Thank you Jen and Robert for sharing your amazing house with me and my family....
Wonderful, well-kept, spacious home with all the "extras"....plenty of room for everyone to have their space. The pool table and darts in the basement are a great addition! The kitchen and bathrooms are super clean and well-stocked with everything needed. Plenty of parking, and places to relax both inside and out. Thanks again for everything!
I was in town with three friends for a martial arts seminar. The house was perfect for us! We each had our own sleeping area, the kitchen was well stocked and fully functional, and the house had a huge backyard (with a fire pit - bonus points!). The entire house was clean and very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to Port Huron for a visit.
My friends and I stayed here for a writing retreat long weekend, and it was perfect! There were multiple seating areas, inside the house and outside, where we could go to get our work done during the day. And the kitchen is well-stocked, which allowed us to prepare and share meals together throughout our stay. We ventured out to do some touristy things for an afternoon, and it was quite convenient to do so. The owners of the property were very welcoming and responsive. Definitely worth the visit, and for a really good price!
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and both times our experiences have been very enjoyable. The listing is accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities. The property is well maintained, clean and centrally located to shopping, recreation and restaurants. The neighbourhood is quiet and well maintained.
The friendly and caring owners were in touch with us before and during our stay just to make sure everything was okay.
We would recommend this property to our friends.
We would definitely stay here again.
