Overall the condo was as pictured– a nice 1-bedroom with a cozy kitchen, living room, and bathroom. This condo is not actually part of the Movenpick resort, but a privately owned condo next to it. Guests can access the pool and beach for 400 pesos a day, which is a steal. Overall it was nice to be close to the resort, and the location was nice as well, as it was about a 20 minute drive to the airport.

I did not meet Brezilda, but I met Rosalina who was very helpful in checking us in and out, and even finding an iron for us to use when we needed one. She was very responsive to text, so thank you for all of your help during our stay!

The thing I would dock this listing is for cleanliness. Each morning after sleeping in the bed, my boyfriend and I would wake up with various bites on our bodies. At first I thought maybe it was maybe mosquitos from the beach, however we evaluated our bodies each night and would have new bites in the morning. DISCLAIMER - we did not specifically find a bug in the condo during our stay, however our guess was that the bed has bed bugs, which did make it difficult to actually sleep at night.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in April. The apartment had plenty of space with a separate lounge room/kitchenette. There is a microwave and fridge but no stove top, which was fine because we ate out every night. Rosalina, the housekeeper, greeted us warmly when we first arrived and showed us around the facilities and gave us excellent advice. The only thing we weren't 100% happy about was the bed which we found very hard for us. At home we have a soft supportive mattress so it took a while to get used to a harder mattress, but otherwise everything was fine. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the apartment plus a small balcony to use if we wanted to. Also, the air conditioning worked very well! There is also a ceiling fan if you want that, but we didn't need it with the air con. The apartment was perfect for our short stay in Cebu and it was much cheaper than staying in the hotel part of the Movenpick. We had the choice of using the hotel facilities for a small fee or doing our own thing, which was great. There are some really nice local restaurants close by which serve delicious food at very good prices. Mactan island, where many of the resorts are, is a nicer part of Cebu to base yourself in rather than Cebu city itself, in my opinion.
