2 bed 2 bath large unit with two patios in the best part of downtown!

Since 2008, Checked in Victoria vacations has been offering safe methods of payment, an easy booking process and responsive reservation communications.

Our Harbour Walk unit is a large 1000 sq foot condo with 2 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has the option for 2 twin beds or 1 king. Just let us know your preference and we will have it ready for you.

This condo is situated across the street from the Royal BC Museum, kitty-corner from the Empress Hotel, one block to the Parliament buildings and the Inner Harbour. If you like to enjoy gardens Beacon Hill park is also across the street where you can enjoy the flowers, gardens, petting zoo, childrens playground and fantastic views from the lookout area.

Parking and wifi are always included and we also have a play pen and booster seat for our travelling families.

Why Checked in Victoria chose James Bay

The Harbour Walk unit is located in the Landmark building which is across the street from the RBC Royal BC Museam and also from the famous Beacon Hill park. It also gets it's name from it's proximity to the Inner Harbour and Empress Hotel. There is a real feel of having your own oasis at this unit as there are two patios and one is covered where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful rhodo's surrounding the deck.

A wonderful Winter stay

From the moment of our first contact with Diedre to our last day in Harbour Walk this was the best stay we have had in Victoria. Diedre was always so positive and helpful and made sure things were always looked after. The suite (although a little dated) was wonderful. It is roomy, comfortable and probably the best location anywhere in the downtown Victoria area. The kitchen is so convenient and well set up, living dining area is large and very cosy. The fireplace was a real bonus. bathrooms are large and the bedrooms are great. The large deck off the master bedroom and the small deck off the living room make the unit seem even larger. Would most definitely recommend Harbour Walk and Diedre of Checked in Victoria.

great place to stay

The unit is lovely and very good location. I would definately tell people about this condo.

We always received support when it was needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were wonderful.

Some suggestions that need attention -

Buy some furniture that is higher for people. Everyone needed assistance with getting up from the couch. Leg extensions on the furniture are needed. The dining room chairs were most uncomfortable. The only comfortable chair was the recliner.

The bathrooms desperately need to be updated. Especially the low, low toilet.

More bathroom tissue and paper towels are needed for extended stays.

People should be told on the site that there are stairs involved in getting in the unit from the lobby.

The rental should be using canadian funds. The added on fees for renting with American funds was not stated until the end of the transaction which really upped the cost.

Owner's Response: Hi Lynda, Thank you for your comments. If you book your stay on an online travel platform like HomeAway or VRBO they convert our rates from Canadian to USD and then back again. Agreed, it is very confusing, but if you book on our Checkedinvictoria site you won't have to deal with that and it is always cheaper to book direct with us. This unit has been outfitted with modern decor and agreed, everything is lower to the floor than a contemporary type style. We have some other units that may suite you better so please contact us direct for details. Deidre

Amazing please to stay!!!

This time we visited Victoria with our friends, so 4 adults and one toddler.

After many years this was the best and largest please we stay with best location ever!!!Everything was clean and beds are very comfortable , park and restaurants super close ...we simply fall in love with this apartment!

On the end our ferry was at 5pm so She allowed us to stay on late check out and keep parking till about 3pm which help us a lot with 2 year old.

Great location!

The condo was a good space for our party of 6. It is thoughtfully stocked with necessities, plenty of linens and washer/dryer in unit. It is clean and inviting from the moment you walk in the lobby. I was glad to have a secured parking spot and the location was fantastic: steps away from Beacon Hill park, across the street from the BC museum and a little jaunt to the wharf and downtown Victoria. The management has been super helpful and friendly with all the questions we had. We will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it!

Great unit in a great location. I will be back

Great location very nice unit with a fireplace. It is updated and in good condition with a fully stocked kitchen plenty of towels and sheets. I was surprised at how quiet it was even though it is only a couple blocks from the empress
