Very nice, peaceful, beautiful lakefront cabin!!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely had an amazing time here!! The cabin was nice and cozy with a lovely view of the small lake. Very nice friendly owner Kris was always easily available in case we needed anything. She made sure that we were well taken care of even though she had many other obligations during our stay. We enjoyed the paddle boat and fishing from her pier AND the short drive to the salmon fishing rivers!! Thank you Kris for everything!! We hope to see you again!!

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. I try not to do any work outside when I have guests but sometimes it is unavoidable with time and weather constraints so thank you for putting up with me. And thanks for the fish! I need to learn to fish one day. Hope to see you again, you are very kind and joyful people.

Johnson Creek

The perfect home base to relax and explore

We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised with the property!

Clean, very comfortable, and everything that we could need for a relaxing "workcation"

We are destination wedding photographers and have stayed in a number of places throughout the country and this has been a favorite by far! It was centrally located enough for all of the sites we had wished to visit on this trip, and we already have plans in the works for a return visit!

Clean, Quiet Escape

  • 5 of 5

This was a great, relaxing location that was still convenient to Denali National Park, Hatcher Pass, and Anchorage. We enjoyed the lake and watching from our deck as a moose with her two calves munched plants nearby. Being so close to the lake, we were shocked at how few bugs were there! Our hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. Yes one good thing about the breeze coming off the lake it keeps the bugs away. Hope to see you return to Alaska someday when the salmon runs are plentiful. Aloha kris

What an amazing location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was everything we could want in a quiet and beautiful place. Kris provides everything you need including some fun stuff - Kayak, Fishing Poles and Fire Ring. The view from the deck on the house and the boat dock is amazing. Can't wait to head back again soon.

Great cozy space!

Loved this cabin! Sad we weren't able to stay longer! It was the perfect "middle point" for us traveling north to Denali and south to Seward/homer area! Very clean, organized, and had everything we needed to cook our fresh caught fish!
