Escape to the Smoky Mountains at Touchdown's Treetop Chalet! This luxury three king suite / three and a half bath chalet is perfect for couples and families. Offering tremendous views of the Great Smoky Mountains, Touchdown's Treetop Chalet is only minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, downtown Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

This magnificent chalet features a large game room with a pool table, HD TV, wet bar, and stand up arcade game (Miss Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Galaga, and many more!) Guests will also enjoy sitting amongst the treetops in the 6-person hot tub on the large back porch. Because of the spacious design, each King Suite offers privacy and comfort. Every suite has a full bathroom, television, DVD player, and king bed. One of the suites even has a gas fire place and private balcony overlooking the Smoky Mountains!

A large sunken living room with a gas fire place and 65in Sony 4K UHD TV and Blu-ray player is the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing, hiking, or white water rafting. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room allow for dining in, and the charcoal grill is great if you'd like to grill out. Laundry facilities are just downstairs in a spacious laundry room equipped with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.

All Touchdown's Treetop Chalet guests are eligible to enjoy the privileges of Chalet Village Owner's Club which includes the use of all 3 convenient Chalet Village Clubhouses with pools, baby pools, pool tables, and tennis courts, complete with snack bars to enjoy a full day of fun. These are all located on Ski Mountain, pools are open May - September and are only available to Chalet Village Guests. Please see Guest Services at check in for clubhouse locations on the map.

Mountain Memories

Beautiful trip to our favorite place! Excellent view and such a comfy home. Our kids loved the game room and hot tub. Beds were comfortable and home was very clean. Owner was great to work with.

Super host and super views!!

Beautiful home is as described in photos. The view from the back deck is awesome, watch the Ober Mountain Tram glide by (you won't get this view as the leaves come back) The ride up the hill is a little daunting, especially if you meet oncoming vehicles, but after a few ups and downs you get the hang of it. All wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. Bring your groceries with you, as much as you can, there is a WalMart about 30 minutes away. Save yourself time and money and bring groceries or stop at the WalMart or food city on your way in. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and just watching the horizon on the porch. Close by you can drive to the top of Ober Mtn, pay $10 to park and another $30 or $50 for either unlimited rides on the tram or the whole park. We did both on separate days. If you are going to the park, arrive before they open. The coaster line is a minimum of an hour wait if you arrive after 12pm. It is fun, but takes a lot of your time by waiting in line. The scenic lift to the top of the lookout is gorgeous, that view was probably worth the $50 price tag. We rode from the bottom to the top twice. Riding the tram down the mountain into Gatlinburg is very cool as well. Sometimes it is crowded, sometimes it is empty either way it has great views. Mike is a great host and will give you suggestions about places to go and things to do. Overall I would return again for vacation.

This time my husband setup the Anniversary adventure. Not again. Older cabin, no garden tubs, the landscaping wasn't down. We only stayed one night and left the next morning. But thank you

Great location and fun game room with comfy beds!

The location was GREAT and the host was an excellent communicator! The kids and adults loved the game room. There was plenty of room and the hot tub was clean. The house is well loved. Do not expect picture perfect paint or floors that don’t creak. This house is a comfort able older vacation home. The beds were comfy and we did use the grill. ( We are bed snobs). Wish it was a gas grill for the convenience but we were just glad to have a grill. AC/ Heat worked well, Internet worked fine- no issues. Again, host was extremely responsive and quick to make sure everything was taken care of. If you go to Food City, (local grocery) be sure to get the extra care card- we saved $50+ and it was free and took 5 minutes to sign up. Visit the National Park- even the kids loved it and all the stops inside the park. Get the Dollywood fast pass -you won’t regret it.
