We really enjoyed our stay in the Sea Pearl. The yacht had comfortable beds and plenty of room for the four of us. Sherrie met us when we checked in and made sure that we had everything we needed for our week’s stay in the Charleston Marina right in the middle of Historic Boston. We did not have to use our rental car the first three days because we could walk to the USS Constitution. The Trolley car, stores and restaurants. The marina was awesome and we enjoyed sitting on the yachts bridge to enjoy coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening while enjoying the Boston weather and watching the fantastic yachts in this beautiful harbor. This yacht had all the amenities we needed. There were two bathrooms, one by each bedroom. There were also shower facilities and pay washing machines and dryers in the front office of the marina. All in all it was a wonderful stay.
This was just an amazing experience. I love the gentle rocking of the boat and the views of Boston is incredible. The boat was very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend away.
Charlestown Marina Boat Rental
Quiet, safe, convenient location close the Boston North End, but on a boat. Kids, aged 7 & 9, loved it!
So Unique and Fun!
We had the best time staying on this beautiful yacht! My parents, my mom is 76 and my dad is 84, and myself and my 6 1/2 year old son all stayed on the yacht without any problems. We all enjoyed ourselves so much, and the marina is so clean and centrally located. We can't wait until our next visit to Boston, so that we can stay here again!
Overall very good site
Overall we had a very good stay and an experience we would never have had staying at a hotel . Sherry who checked us in was very thorough and pleasant. Beds were comfortable and the boat was well equipped. The opportunity to be on the water and meet other boaters such as the Naval Academy midshipmen was wonderful for our grandsons .
We had one unfortunate situation which was remedied by my husband. From the beginning he and I felt that the boat had a foul odor and it progressively got worse over the next day and a half to two days . It was worse when the boat was closed up and the air conditioning was on and better at night when we opened the windows but the smell never totally dissipated . I was out with our other guests sightseeing and my husband’s phone wasn’t operating so he contacted the individuals who were emptying the septic system on a boat close to ours and asked them to come and address our septic system which they commented was totally full and they immediately emptied. The service person said the systems need to be regularly Sanitized to prevent orders particularly in the summer time . The situation improved considerably but not totally. I texted Jim the owner and he agreed with me that the tank should be sanitized . Given how responsive the owners were I would imagine that this has happened by now . Lesson learned if everything isn’t as you expect it to be speak up right away .
We were so satisfied with the overall experience aboard the Sea Pearl. The process from booking, to checking in, to checking out, was very simple. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and always available if necessary. We knew we wanted to vacation in Boston, but add in a yacht on the ocean and that was perfect! We were close to all the sites and most were in close proximity to our location. This was a great way to take in the sites of Boston while enjoying life on the water,
