About this property

You have found the vacation property whose name says it all GEMSTONES, located in Southampton, Bermuda. Gemstones is a luxury villa on its very own private beach. Upon arrival as you approach the property all you can say is 'WOW!'. This three bedroom accommodation has an open plan design with a large balcony off the dining room where you can enjoy panoramic views of the south shore. With another balcony off the master bedroom, fresh coffee and the sunrise will start your day off just right. In the master bedroom a king sized bed, Jacuzzi, and the walk through closet will make you feel right at home. The loft serves as a forth bedding area with a king size futon that can be converted to two single beds. This property has all the comforts you will desire. Wifi available. A fully appointed Viking kitchen and a Sub Zero refridgerator, full laundry and a large back patio area for those summer bar-b-ques. Enjoy your favorite beverage as you nestle by the fireplace in the sunken living room. The breakfast nook is an additional area allowing you further relaxation. Perfect place to read a good book as you watch the waves wash in and roll out gently over the pink sand. Reverse air conditioners are located in selected areas throughout the house. This resort area has the finest restaurants and a major bus route for convenience at the top of “de hill” all within walking distance.

We no longer offer private dining services with Chef Greg since he has choosen Permaculture gardening and composting with his company Food Forest. The only farm of this kind in these islands.

Due to popular demand, our Deck House unit is also available under listing #914639. This fully independent apartment is a queen size studio affording additional accommodation for 2 guests only. Located at the lower western end of the property. This unit is a charming fully appointed studio complete with a queen bed full kitchen and modern bathroom.

Should you require more or addition accommodations, our daughter Tiara Wilson own and manages Crown Point Concierge- a highly sort off company in the luxury vacation rental business. Keep in mind there is no place like Gemstones. There I said it....now come and "feel the love". Hope to see you soon.

Magical! Practically perfect!

This is a stunning property steps from the hidden gem of Cross Bay Beach. The house itself is elegant and well-appointed. There is a cook’s kitchen, towels are fluffy and the beds are extremely comfortable. You can walk to the Reefs, Henry the Eighth, Gibbs Lighthouse, the Rail Trail and Horseshoe Beach. The bus stops at the top of the driveway and is accessible, friendly and easy to use. Or just stay on Cross Bay Beach or the balcony at Gemstones and watch the whales breaching out at sea and the breathtaking sunsets. This would be enough! Gemstones is owned and operated by Lorna and Greg Wilson, who practice the kind of gracious hospitality that you read about in old novels. A truly magical experience in this extraordinary place!

A Gem!

From the check-in process to our departure, this experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Lorna, our host was amazing, always going above and beyond! Sylvia, our transportation expert was also exceptional. We have nothing negative to say about our experience. The place is more beautiful in person than the photos. The private beach was perfect! We will be back!

BEAUTIFUL spot & fabulous accommodations

My family and I made plans to head to Bermuda on vacation with very little previous knowledge about the island - thankfully we got lucky and picked this beautiful house and it came with the best views of our entire trip and wonderful support/ambassadorship from the hosts! We stayed for 5 nights and unfortunately, the weather prevented us from exploring some of the things at the top of our list - but - this place was so great, we really feel like our trip was lackluster without those experiences at all. When things came up, Lorna was there (omnipresent for support but we had our own space - ideal combo). When problems or questions we had arose - they were fixed so quickly we were able to move right along and keep enjoying our vacation seamlessly. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We already have told everyone since we've been back that if they ever go to Bermuda - THIS is THE place to stay!

Awesome Stay

We returned to Bermuda after a 30 yr hiatus. We first moved here with the US Navy in 1993 for a shortened tour. Our time here was magical then and we had alot of Family visit then. We decided to relive that time and had alot of the same family and more come to stay and enjoy this magical place with us. Gemstones was a wonderful place to explore from and Lorna and Greg were great hosts. We loved our time and we will be back! Bernie and Katie

Married 30 years with an adult daughter (Tiara) and son (Trysten). Our grand daughter (Bella) came into our lives about 2 years ago and has been the blessing we have longed for. My husband, Greg is a watch maker and gemologist. Our daughter, Tiara has followed in his footsteps as a jeweler. Hence, Gemstones is the name of our home. We built this home and completed it in 1998. However, we have only been promoting Gemstones as a vacation alternative for the pass six (6) years. Coming from a hospitality background with over 42 years of experience we know how to greet, meet and enjoy people. At the same time offering a vacation home product like no other in Bermuda. We have a total of 4 units on this property which keeps us very busy. Greg is a professional chef and a very skilled boats man. So keeping me busy is only the half of it. We enjoy travelling especially with our family and very close friends. I invite you to read our reviews on our other listings, after a while you will know all about us. We are at your service.

Gemstones is a property that has all the qualities for large, medium and small families to enjoy. It is tucked away in an area of Bermuda called the Gold Coast overlooking the prettiest Private Beach called Crossbay Beach. Imagine someone placed you in the middle of the best resort area and said "have fun". The best restaurants, the kindest neighborhood, your own private beach with nature at it's best. You are right in the middle of three of the finest resorts Bermuda has to offer. All you have to do is bring your own groceries. You awake to the ocean and the sound of chirping birds everyday. You look out to sea and is amazed that God has created so many shades of blue. In the warmer summer months Longtail birds fill the skies. In the later evenings as the sunsets you watch the large cruise ships sailing on the oceans. Stay a little longer and you will be hypnotized by the beacon of Gibb's Hill Lighthouse.
