The largest space in the property at 55 square meters, and an additional 65 meters of open air living space downstairs as well as a 12 square meter terrace, the Khmer House is a true taste of traditional Khmer living set in the backdrop of lush greenery. The bedroom upstairs is adorned with a major piece from Cambodian artist Lim Muy Theam, has a king sized bed and an art deco wooden couch that can be converted into a bed. An open-planned structure built in the 1940s, the Khmer House was delicately saved from its former location, miles away from the property, dismantled and faithfully restored to its present home.
A traditional Khmer house on stilts, the structure has an open living area on the ground level and a large room with a modern bathroom on the second level. Traditions and Modernity, simplicity and luxury, the Khmer house is a private villa for a unique experience of Cambodia.
