About Angie Lindberg

As a Pa family, we wanted a vacation destination where we could escape to the mountains. We love spending time in nature and getting away from the daily grind. In Blue Ridge, we put on our hiking boots, hit the trails, and look for wildlife. The whole family loves nothing more than seeing a doe and fawn in the woods. When we're there, we notice how the mountain air is intoxicating and just how clear the night sky is with all its twinkling stars. It's a truly stellar getaway!

Why Angie Lindberg chose Blue Ridge

Honeysuckle Mountain Hideaway checked many boxes off our checklist. For one, it is near the national forest, which is not far from downtown Blue Ridge. Secondly, waterfalls and trails, including the start of the Appalachian Trail, are in the vicinity. Thirdly, the cabin is located in a beautiful mountain area where we can drive easily--no steep inclines. Lastly, it is just the perfect size cabin for our family.

What makes this cabin unique

We love that our cabin is unique as it is built with real logs and chink. The fireplace definitely gives it a special charm as well. Mostly though, we like that it's a cozy place of serenity with all the modern features of a home.

This was the perfect getaway from the city! The cabin has everything you could possibly need to make your stay relaxing and stress-free. We even left a pair of glasses behind and they were shipped to us the next day! Thank you Angie! We cannot wait to go back!

My family loved the property! The drive to the cabin was great, no small winding roads!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was great for a long weekend getaway! We are already planning our next trip. We had an 11 yr old and a 1 year old, they loved walking around outside and the screened porch was perfect! It honestly felt like home! The beds were comfortable and so was the living room furniture.

Beautiful

The cabin was Beautiful!! Just disappointed the fireplace wasn't working or the tv. It would have been nice to have better directions to places that was very confusing.

Owner's Response: Hi Louise, The fireplace is a newer model. Unfortunately, I had to wait till the gas company could send a repairman. I understand your disappointment and wish I could have gotten it repaired sooner. I didn't realize there was an issue with the TV. This is the first I've heard. Thanks for letting me know so that I can see if there are better instructions to help guests. I am not sure regarding the directions issue. There should have been maps/directions in the information binder. Sorry for your disappointment. Thank you for letting me know for future guests.

Peaceful and beautiful!

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful cabin stocked with everything you could possibly need. I forgot shampoo, but the owners even had that. The screened porch was so relaxing. Very comfortable beds! No cell service, but that's fine, as we went to spend time with each other. We couldn't find the place where we were to take our trash, so we ended up taking it all the way back home.
