Maria and I purchased the home in 2011 and have been using it as a weekend retreat from the city and have enjoyed it immensely.
Since welcoming a new member to the family in 2013, we have new time commitments that limits our pass time at the Cabin.
We wanted to extend and share our experience with others that would appreciate it's serenity, calmness and relaxation beyond our existing circle of family and friends.
We look forward to sharing our home away from home with all and hope to hear positive feedback on your stay.

It's just pure awesomeness!
On the lake. Family charm and fun. Feel like home. Hard to leave.
The property has a beautiful stone deck on the lakefront. We spent a lot of time sitting there enjoying the quiet view. Built a fire in the firepit one evening. Took the canoe out on the lake. The kitchen, dining area and living room form a great common area for being with friends or family. There is a second seating area upstairs for some alone time. The three bedrooms and two large bathrooms readily took care of those needs. We are hoping to make a return visit.
We had a great stay at the house. It was clean and spacious. We loved the lake and the firepit. Location was great- secluded but not far from town to pick up necessities.
Our family of four enjoyed our 3 day stay at this lovely home. We would consider returning in the future.
An open and spacious retreat located on quiet, lakefront property, but also close to gas stations, stores and restaurants. Very beautiful views of the lake from the home, and there were deer roaming freely around the neighborhood, as well as on the property. Agree with another reviewer that the home, inside and out, is in need of TLC and repairs throughout, although we found the interior to be bright, nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen was adequately stocked, as well as other amenities throughout the house, and home furnishings were comfortable. We had a very nice time, spending the majority of our vacation outdoors on the lakeside stone patio with a fire in the fire pit supplied. Casey and Maria were very kind and answered our questions and concerns quickly.
The house was very comfortable and well-equipped. The air conditioning worked well. The setting, right on the lake, was beautiful and we really enjoyed the fire pit. There were a few items that could use attention and they were relatively minor and should be easily fixed. There were many tears in the screen in the screened-in porch, so bugs could get in, making it not so useful. There was a lot of mildew on the shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom and the towel bar was down. Although there was a canoe, it was difficult to get it into the lake, since there was a lot of overgrown grass, weeds where otherwise we could have just slid the canoe in. The binder on the kitchen counter had very little information in it and some was outdated and some was missing. Yhe doors alarm system was very annoying.
A little bit of TLC would make this a much better place. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay,
Great location, nice house with lots of space, quiet and right on the water. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, utensils, etc. and it was a fun place to cook. Very cool light fixtures and fans throughout the house! The master bathroom jacuzzi was also great, although it was a little odd showering in there without a full shower curtain...brrrr! However the place could use a deep cleaning, especially because they are pet friendly and it seemed a lot of the furniture and area rugs were pretty worn in. It also had a heavy fireplace smell. There were lots of cobwebs and ripped screens in the screened in porch - easy fixes. And we were a bit disappointed that the DVD player (PS2) tray wouldn't open (great DVD collection!) and when we contacted the owner for a suggestion they just didn't answer, before that they answered pretty quickly to my questions. Also the community pool wasn't open on 6/11, the security guard said it was opening 6/18. Clearly not the owner's fault but it should be disclosed in the listing the pool open dates, as it was part of the reason we booked the location. Also a light over the bathroom vanity and on the bed side tables would be nice. Overall a fantastic place but for a vacation rental it could just use a little more TLC.
